We loved staying at Alaya, the staff was great and David made sure our drinks stayed full while we relaxed on the beach. The room are beautiful, clean and the sound of the ocean was very relaxing at night. The location was in a great spot, we could walk to a Cenote and little restaurants and bars very close by.

If you are looking for a calm, beautiful beachfront escape in Tulum with a wonderful, zen atmosphere, Alaya is the place. The design seamlessly blends into nature, and the hospitality is next level. Amazing service! Very clean! Good location

The place feels like a treehouse jungle, absolutely well designed. Enjoyed sitting out in the sunroom the most. When we were there, there were tons of seaweed, and unfortunately we couldn't swim. We were looking forward to the beach here. I came with my kids, and because we couldn't go into the beach, we went to the beach clubs along tulum and tried different swimming pools. If Alaya had a pool it would've been amazing! The staff were very kind and helpful, they are always smiling and offering assistance.

This is an amazing place to stay. Rooms are spacious clean and authentic. Lovely terrace to sit on outside room. Direct access to beach with loungers. Great breakfast in covered dining area. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Easy walk to lots of bars and restaurants (but expensive). 20 minute indrive taxi into Tulum Centro. No pool but you can use the one in the Aquamina or Zebra if you buy a drink/food. So peaceful and relaxing. Local supermarkets within 5 mins walk. No fridge or tea making facilities in room. They do bring a hot drink to your room in the morning. Room service available via whatsapp

Our stay at Alaya has been amazing. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, and the hotel is absolutely beautiful. A small number of rooms means it stays quiet and relaxing, with the beach literally on your doorstep. Great location where it’s a bit quieter, but a very easy walk to all restaurants/bars in the hotel district. We also made great friends with the two beautiful stray pups that hang out on the beach nearby. Absolutely recommend staying here!

Nothing was too much for the staff at this laid back paradise. From the smiling and ever attentive Marcelo at breakfast, through to Carlos and Edwin at the beach bar, everyone was so keen to ensure we could sit back and relax. Eric and Sophie at the front desk sorting everything out for us, from transport to reservations and when our holiday risked ending with the stress of our flight being delayed several hours, Daniel kindly allow us to stay in our room so we could freshen up and leave Relax at the end of a wonderful stay. Highly recommended.

Stayed at Alaya Tulum and honestly didn’t want to leave. Super chill vibe, right on the beach, and feels way more relaxed and less hectic than other spots in Tulum.

Rooms are beautiful, you fall asleep to the sound of the ocean, and the whole place just feels really well thought through. Staff were lovely and not over the top.

Great food, amazing setting, and just an easy place to properly switch off.

My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights as part of our honeymoon and we cannot recommend it enough. Everything about our stay was fabulous. From the incredible food to the stunning treehouse rooms, every detail felt special. The beach is beautifully raw and unspoiled.
The staff go above and beyond. Carlos, Ismael, marcelo, David and the entire team were amazing throughout our stay.
It was the perfect honeymoon escape and we would go back in a heartbeat.

We had the best time at Alaya - it’s such a beautiful location. Felt private and intimate. And yet right outside, there was a bustling street with plenty of shopping and tons of amazing food options. Every member of staff made us feel at home and cared for. I loved waking up to my morning coffee and getting to hear the sound of the waves on the beach. My teenage son is looking forward to returning again next year. There isn’t anything I would change.

The place is outstanding. The staff are very friendly Daniel, Sofia, Erick, Carlos, and Ismaeel. The beach is clear they remove seaweed. The food & drinks are amazing and delicious. The rooms are clean and has working AC. Also the hotel is at very good location with shops, cafes, bars around. Overall stay is outstanding and would definitely recommend and come back again.

We loved our stay at the Alaya Hotel. The whole team were very attentive. I’d particularly like to mention David, who was very attentive, professional and took great care with my son’s food allergy. But the whole team genuinely cares about making guests feel at home. We’d love to come back.

The Alaya was amazing. We had never been to Tulum before and didn’t know much about what we were getting in to— the staff at Alaya were there as a resource every step of the way. Rodrigo, David, and Carlos were especially helpful in providing amazing recommendations, booking reservations for us, and accommodating requests promptly and with so much hospitality. It truly felt like home for the 6 nights we stayed! Beyond the incredible staff, the hotel is beautiful, food is amazing, and the beach is unreal. We would definitely book this spot again and have already recommended it to our friends!!!

The staff is the best especially David he was very attentive for my special requests and never let us down! The view is amazing and the rooms are top notch! It is very calm and very relaxing I totally recommend!
