A good buffet in the main dining room
The heating and air conditioning control was very complicated and every the efforts of a staff member did not result in any warming of what was a rather cool room. ( number 45)
I love the hotel, really old hotel, but the hotel is lovely inside, very spacious room, always very clean and comfortable, nice bar as well, good parking.
Nice place to stay and I have been there twice now and the breakfast was very nice.
Toilet in my room hadn’t been cleaned with poo stains on the bowl and urine hadn’t been flushed. I complained about this to reception and was told housekeeping staff had gone home, so nothing was done. Toilets not being cleaned after previous visitors is not something that should not happen and was not a pleasant surprise when I went to use the loo.
Good location to stay for distance to Harry Potter studios
In room 23 I did not see a USB port.
My only complaint is that any noise at all in the corridor was audible inside. I noticed there was quite a big gap at the bottom of the door. So better sound proofing would be a good thing to do.

Fabulous hotel & wonderful grounds! So peaceful.
Food was lush, rooms were good. Staff on reception very helpful in my small issue.
