Cons:

The AC was not working on the night I stayed, making the room very uncomfortable. The bathroom was also extremely poorly designed, the toilet was squeezed between the shower and the sink, leaving almost no room to move and making it very awkward to use.

To make matters worse, after reporting these issues to Booking.com, I was offered a refund of only a couple of pounds, despite paying around £140 for the night. I found that completely inadequate given the problems I experienced. Overall, this was a very disappointing stay, and I would not stay here again or recommend it to others.

Amazing
Pros:

Lovely all round, could be 5 star. The spa was great my only wish was that it had beds for lazing on to spend longer in there. Bedroom windows can open which is rare and the fresh air helps have a better night sleep than the average hotel. Lovely entrance, reception and bar/breakfast area. Felt luxurious.

Bar & Restaurant were not to my taste - very noisy and little quiet space
Staff in Bar & Restaurant seemed pre-occupied with their own issues rather than acknowledge and serve the customers

One bad moment of service or lack of focus can completely ruin an experience.
Pros:

Generally all good. Mostly good staff.

Cons:

I prepaid the room on booking.com.
The night team tried to charge my card again and I would have paid twice but my bank stopped it.
They also put my card on stop and I had a busy morning just sorting this nonsense out which soured my experience

Faultless stay

Visited with work for our annual conference, had a room for 2 nights, every single member of staff encountered were so friendly and polite, the hotel was immaculate, and my room was supplied with fresh towels daily and tea and coffee, I had forgotten to pack a plug for my charger and was kindly lent one from reception. The food offered throughout our stay was perfect, breakfast was a buffet style, with hot food, pastries, cereals and fresh fruit and a selection of juices, teas and coffees. The hotel is perfectly located not far from the M40. Would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay again when in the area
