Always clean and friendly staff

Very good location.
We stayed in the unit with a kitchenette. There are a few areas that could be improved to make the stay more comfortable. The bed is positioned directly under a window, and the light from the outside passage shines through the blinds throughout the night, making it difficult to sleep. We also noticed some dampness in the bathroom / unit. I was also a little surprised to find that the milk in the fridge had already been opened. In addition, noise in the passage late at night and early in the morning was very disturbing.
No toilet door which isnt great

Great location in central Stellenbosch, can reach everywhere on foot. Perfect and friendly staff.
The lights from the neighbouring building were shining quite strongly into my room. I appreciate that the room was brand new, but adding curtains could help guests get a great night's sleep.

Terrible entrance (very narrow) lucky my husband can maneuver as large car. You should advertise parking for small cars only! Also the neighbours bright security light lit the apartment up and it was difficult to sleep as there waa no blind on the door to block the light out. Won't be staying there again
Great location, comfortable room and awesome breakfast
Most hospitable and accommodating staff, from the manager, reception, waiters, housekeeping and the night-shift reception night manager, fit-out with white gloves and such a charm. Charlene / Charlize, not quite sure about the name, was fantastic in accommodating early checkin - so very friendly and professional! Thank you for a great stay!

The friendliness of the staff.
⭐️ 1/5 – Disappointing experience
We stayed at the hotel for three nights with my family, having booked three rooms. Unfortunately, despite the friendly and accommodating staff, our overall experience was quite disappointing and fell well below the standard we expected from a boutique hotel.
There were several issues during our stay. One of the rooms had a persistent, stuffy odour, while another had a concrete/stone shower floor that did not appear particularly hygienic or well maintained.
The other two rooms had frosted glass entrance doors, which allowed a considerable amount of light into the rooms throughout the night. This made sleeping difficult, particularly for guests who are sensitive to light. There was also some noise from the apartment block next door during the evenings.
Cleanliness was another concern. After accidentally dropping a ring under one of the beds, we had to lift the bed to retrieve it. Unfortunately, we found a significant amount of accumulated dirt and dust underneath the bed, which gave the impression that this area had not been cleaned for an extended period. The walls in the rooms also appeared noticeably marked and in need of attention.
The parking facilities were particularly challenging. The driveway is extremely narrow, with very little clearance on either side of a vehicle, making entering and exiting quite stressful and creating a genuine risk of scratching a vehicle or its mirrors. The parking bays themselves are also very tight and positioned close to pillars and neighbouring vehicles. With only four parking bays available, the parking facilities feel inadequate for the property.
The most significant issue, however, was the lack of hot water. We unfortunately had cold showers throughout our entire three-night stay. We raised the issue with management on two occasions, and repair personnel were sent to investigate, but unfortunately the problem was not resolved during our stay.

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful boutique hotel on Dorp Street in Stellenbosch. It is such a charming little hotel, perfectly situated right in the middle of town, making it incredibly convenient to explore everything Stellenbosch has to offer.
Our room was lovely, beautifully decorated, comfortable and spotless. The attention to detail throughout the hotel is wonderful, creating a warm, elegant and welcoming atmosphere.
The staff were absolutely fantastic, super friendly, welcoming and helpful. Their genuine hospitality really added to our stay and made us feel completely at home.
