Over priced for a very averge experience
Food was poor and prices were high - not a great combination
Great rooms and position, lovely views to wake up to. The service was great but as usual the staff were under pressure because they were always shorthanded. Food was fine with nothing too elaborate, but the length of time it took to appear wasn't great. Nice break but definitely could be improved.
Kitchen
The relaxed atmosphere was comfortable and the beach location was brilliant for our dog.
Lovely views. Good sized room. Excellent breakfast.
I think the duvet could be replaced. It was a bit lumpy.
The room and view were lovely
The runner along where the hard floor and carpeted area meets in the room we had was a very odd shape and sore to step on so had to consciously avoid it but other than that it was fantastic
Staff amazing, location wonderful. Have stayed here many times and will continue to return
Room was spacious
Excellent staff
Breakfast good overall no complaints
Bar closed at 12 o’clock
First time staying at this hotel. We stayed Monday to Friday. We took our boxer dog. Our room was perfect, sea view looking out to Arran. Bed was comfortable and room was a good size with a small sofa and table and chairs. Bathroom was huge, bath with jets and a big walk in shower. It is a very dog friendly hotel. Breakfast was good and we ate from the lunch menu and had two night time meals which were delicious. The outside gardens have lots of seating and tables which is lovely on a nice day. Through the gardens and straight onto the beach. A beautiful location. The staff were all lovely and welcoming. We will definitely be back and would recommend. We never used any of the spa facilities.
Visited the Waterside Spa for the 1st time after receiving a voucher for a massage. Treatment was fantastic and very relaxing. I used the thermal suite for an hour before my treatment. Spa is modern and clean and i enjoyed the use of the sauna and hydro pool. There is seating inside and outside with fantastic views of Arran and Ailsa Craig. The spa is small but has everything you would be looking to use. I really enjoyed the spa however for improvements would recommend the hotel staff be a bit more visible at times to clean away empty cups and glasses and take orders for drinks. I pressed the bell which was outside but nobody came and another guest went and got someone to take our orders. I also felt there was a bit of hesitation for some odd reason when i asked for a coffee even though there was a menu which listed coffees. They also need a more visible water station in the thermal suite. I would use the Waterside Spa again but the experience at the Gailes was far superior. The position of the relaxation room at the Waterside is really odd. You have to walk through the spa restaurant to get to it and as there is no door you can hear guests dining. The headphones they also supply weren’t great. Spa is very good but staff just need to make some small changes to make it better.
So lovely. Peaceful and relaxing - just what we needed!
My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our spa afternoon at Si Spa. Facilities are spotless and there’s a very relaxing atmosphere. We had the Rasul experience which was lovely. Poke bowls were more filling than expected and delicious. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Would definitely recommend.
Everything was exceptional 👌🏻
Room and location are the reason for staying stayed before
Stayed before earlier in the year and the staff and food needed looked at but just reopened so give them the benefit of the doubt .But on this occasion not staff poor do not know if its waiters service or bar just don’t engage with the customer and spend most of the time trying to to dodge customers one or two good but most need to be brought up to a standard where they understand that they are in the service industry . Manger needs this also . Food has improved and can only get better . Prices are totally wrong asking 5 star prices not 4 . I no as i stay lots of 5 star .
