Great location and a great hotel. There are lots of choices at breakfast bar and excellent restaurant choices. A great place to stay if you are visiting Karachi.
Air-conditioning is really weak and bad
We traveled from Lahore to spend two days at PC Karachi and one day at Khoj Resort as part of our family vacation. We chose Pearl Continental Karachi because we expected the same high standard of comfort and service associated with the Pearl Continental brand. Unfortunately, our very first night was extremely disappointing. The morning shift staff handled the situation professionally and promptly moved us to another room. After the room change, the remainder of our stay was comfortable.
We paid for a two night stay, but the first night was completely ruined because the air conditioner in our room was not working. Despite calling the front desk 4-5 times throughout the night, the issue was never resolved. We spent the entire night sweating, were unable to sleep properly, and woke up with headaches. After traveling all the way from Lahore with our family, this was the last thing we expected.
Losing an entire night's rest during a short two day vacation significantly affected our overall experience. The first night felt like a complete waste of money.
Although the hotel changed our room the following morning, that did not compensate for the discomfort and inconvenience we experienced during the first night. Our confidence in the hotel's service had already been affected, and we even chose to have our meals outside the hotel for the remainder of our stay.
What made this even more disappointing is that we have previously stayed at Pearl Continental Rumanza Multan and had an excellent experiences. That positive stays were one of the main reasons I chose Pearl Continental Karachi for this family vacation. Unfortunately, the handling of this issue fell well below the standard I had come to expect from the Pearl Continental brand.
Given these circumstances, I believe a refund for the first night's stay, or another appropriate form of compensation, would be a fair resolution. I sincerely hope the management reviews this matter seriously, as no guest should have to lose an entire night of a paid stay because of an unresolved maintenance issue.
Beautiful hotel
House Keeping staff Anand was very nice; Food was delicious and tempting. Receptionist Rubi and Imran was very professional and courteous. Over all experience was very good.
Hotel has very old serving material. Specially Dinning Napkins very old and not cleaned. In room dinning Serving Table was miserable and looks like 30 years old. In the Breakfast; Most of tables were not ready, Missing Napkins and basic stuff like Salt and Pepper on Table.

They consistently provided excellent guest service by responding promptly to guest inquiries, resolving booking issues efficiently, and ensuring a smooth and positive experience for every customer. Sharif communicated professionally, handled concerns with patience and empathy, and always went the extra mile to make guests feel valued and supported.
