Guest Reviews
Standard hotel with quirky obsession with their local animal (forget the name).
We accidentally booked a smoking room.
Changing to a non smoking room was an issue.
Even though we booked on the day of arrival the hotel would not offer a refund.

Amazing staff and the blackout curtains were such a nice addition
We had a lovely stay at Mitsui Garden Hotel Kumamoto! The room was clean, the facilities were nice, and the location was great. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
The hotel parking couldn’t accommodate our SUV, but there were plenty of affordable paid parking options nearby.
A special thanks to the kind gentleman working the night shift at the hotel’s parking area, who ran inside to get us an umbrella even though we told him we would be fine! Also, the lovely ladies at reception were incredibly helpful with sending our luggage and other belongings to our next hotel.
We also want to mention the lovely elderly gentleman who owns the parking lot across the road. He was very kind and welcoming, and even though he didn’t speak English, we still managed to communicate and understand each other!
Wonderful hospitality and a very pleasant stay. Highly recommended!
