Our stay here at The Resident Victoria was perfect. The hotel staff were all fabulous especially Lawrence the Resident Insider. Always welcoming and very helpful with places to go, how to get there and specific details. The hotel is very comfortable and the amenities were perfect for my husband and I. Would definitely recommend it and hope to be back next time we are in London.

The location is simply perfect. Steps away from the Underground and bus stops, we explored Westminster, Hyde Park, and so many iconic London landmarks with ease.
And after long days of sightseeing, coming back to the hotel’s Wine Hour was pure bliss — the perfect way to unwind, relax, and soak in the atmosphere before heading out again the next morning.

The location is simply perfect; steps away from the Underground and bus stops, we explored Westminster, Hyde Park, and so many iconic London landmarks with ease. Hotel was amazing. Drinks reception in the evening was a pleasant way to meet other people. Mini kitchen in the room was really useful. Staff were all nothing short of amazing.

Daniel at the reception of The Resident Victoria, was very accommodating from the moment we walked through the entrance. He greeted us with a smile, and made us feel very welcomed and appreciated that we to chose to stay at the hotel. Explaining the hotel benefits; taking our requests as well as asking housekeeping to give us an extra set of duvet covers so that me and my mum (sharing a double bed) to have our own sheets, asking if we need any advice, offered to carry our belongings to and from the room and offering to arrange transport.

The hotel was very clean and tidy; room (Standard Double) was soundproof, great mini kitchen that came with a sink/drinking water, microwave, mini-fridge, cutlery which was very handy for late night food/snacking, and the hotel even had a "happy hour" where they gave out free Prosecco in the evenings which complimented your stay. The air conditioning worked well, and the shower had great pressure and was spacious, with complimentary Molton Brown shampoo/conditioner/body wash.

The downside is waiting in the reception lobby of the area tends to get a bit crowded when there are more than 5 guests with big suitcases if you are waiting for transport/sitting in the lobby and there is only 2 small chairs with a low table for guests waiting, we did expect the room to have small personal amendities such as; toothpaste, toothbrush, shower caps, small facecloth and slippers but there was none. So be sure to pack your own.

We mainly got taxis to and from our hotel, and it was easy to spot as the hotel was at the side of a dead-end street, and within walking distance is Buckingham Palace and lots of cafes too.

Overall, it was a fantastic stay and worth the money for a short stay.

The location is excellent, and our King Room was incredibly spacious. The rooms are beautifully decorated, fresh, and spotless, with very comfortable beds. As a light sleeper, I especially appreciated how quiet the hotel is.

The kitchenette facilities are excellent, and the Molton Brown toiletries add an extra touch of luxury. We return time and time again because of the consistently high standard of service and quality throughout our stay.

This was me and my mum’s fourth stay at The Resident Victoria. We always love staying here as the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, the rooms are lovely and kept very clean, and the hotel is located in a convenient location just behind Buckingham Palace and within walking distance of Victoria station. It is also very reasonably priced given all this. I would recommend The Resident to anybody and we will definitely be back next year!

We loved our brief stay at the Resident, and wish didn't have to be so brief! The location is excellent, and is walking distance to so many great sites. Lawrence was especially friendly and gave us many great recommendations and ideas for things to do in the time we had, and he was super friendly the whole time. The room was clean and comfortable, but air conditioned during a hot May, so great to come back to some cool. Highly recommend this excellent hotel if you are staying in London.

Great location and lovely rooms

The location was perfect! So near Buckingham Palace and the main street! We could grab a taxi so fast. The room was bigger than I expected and the bathroom was HUGE compared to other European hotels we've stayed in! Staff was great, lovely evening cocktail hour. Overall, it was a great stay.

Well appointed rooms with comfortable bed and excellent shower. Initial greeting and check in experience set the tone for a very pleasant 3 night stay. All staff we encountered ( predominantly front desk) were professional, courteous and very friendly. Would stay here again without hesitation if we were looking to stay in the area.
