Love the complimentary wine and snack bar and the delicious breakfast offerings in the morning! Very comfortable accomodations! Would love to stay again! It was a very unusual hot day in SF and I called front desk and he brought me a fan in less than 5 minutes. Very nice staff!

Friendly Staff and close to UCSF
The front desk person went above any beyond, helping us when we arrived, the complimentary breakfast was a nice bonus.
My partner & I tried to stay at this historic boutique hotel in the past, but it may have been under renovation at that time. This time I was traveling alone, and I could not have been more pleased with my room, with the amenities, with the staff, etc. The hotel even offers a little happy hour in the early evening, in their very pretty bar/parlour, and also puts on a nice breakfast in the morning. (Strong coffee!)
It is in a great neighborhood, where my room looked right out at Golden Gate Park. It is an easy walk to cafés, the famous Haight St. shopping area, to the Muni for the ball park, etc. etc.
I found it to be a lovely place and would go back eagerly anytime.
I was very thankful for the staff at the Stanyan Park Hotel. They did a great job making the experience enjoyable, and warm. The nightly wine hour was really lovely, and I was thankful for such a great gathering space. Also, loved the location of this hotel- so easy to get around. Thank you!

Not into Old historic places, no parking, I'm 82, disabled and not into waling half a block. I found a disabled parking spot on the street and left it there all night, thankfully no problems

The best feature about this hotel was the free wine and the breakfast in the morning. It was just an excellent experience overall.
The only thing I didn’t like is having to pay for parking and putting my car somewhere different
Stayed here because it was close to UCSF hospital, my sister had surgery and I was able to go back and forth easy. The room was clean and staff very friendly.
