The evening meal food was great, mostly great staff, room was nice and clean and room service was ideal.
The view in the room, lunch was ok and cocktails need ice but only small things I like that maybe others dont x
Really well thought out hotel, very friendly.
Everything fine
The staff were very friendly and helpful, from the front office to housekeeping, very friendly. Rooms are lovely and spacious, food was gorgeous and location is perfect for sight seeing
Nothing to complain about
Lovely hotel. Beautiful grounds. Food fab
Nothing
Lovely beds, very quiet, excellent breakfast, plenty of variety, excellent staff from reception/Bar/Restuarant - very polite and helpful. Used spa - staff there were great also!
Nothing - Great stay
We had the most wonderful stay at Brandon House Hotel and couldn't be happier with our experience.
The hotel is absolutely lovely, with beautifully renovated rooms, stunning views, and a peaceful location just outside the charming town of New Ross. The surrounding scenery is beautiful and made our stay even more enjoyable.
What truly made our visit special was the exceptional service. Everyone was friendly, professional, and welcoming from the moment we arrived. A special thank you to Sylwia at reception for her kindness and helpfulness throughout our stay.
The restaurant was also outstanding. The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and served incredibly quickly. A big thank you to Mena and all the restaurant staff for their excellent service, and all the lovely treats.
Everything about our stay was amazing.Thank you to the entire team at Brandon House Hotel for making our visit so memorable. We look forward to returning again soon!
Beautiful and the park outside is bonus points
The entrance , you can only get there by car from main road..
The beds were comfortable, the thermal suite was ok
The food wasn't great and dinner was microwaved , breakfast was disappointing
Came here for a carvery and left with an empty stomach.
The food was awful. Like really bad. For the price too? I won’t ever be back. The only hotel in the town you’d expect them to at least make edible food. Avoid and go anywhere else.
Friendly staff, lovely food, great grounds, accessible location
Cocktail barmaid was visibly angry when we ordered...she was overwhelmed and let us know it
Staff are lovely, the location is so relaxing
Bed a little too soft, but thats just a personal thing
Booked the hotel to visit relatives while attending a first communion in Waterford, we thought the hotel was expensive but thought it was a special event we would use a token we had to pay for the hotel.
We arrived to a very noisey family row at the hotel entrance, fortunately the police arrived but the arguments continued well into the evening.
Staff are very friendly, our room was basic, breakfast was very good, swimming pool was ok but had no security. We were disappointed
Stayed three nights with my aunt who knew the hotel from years gone by.
Positives:
Set in beautiful grounds, within walking distance to New Ross, nicely renovated bar serving good food.
Negatives:
Rooms tired and in need of an update, no suitable lights for reading in the bedroom. The pool area and changing rooms looked tired and in need of redecoration.
On the middle night of our stay, very late at night, there was a group of very noisy men using bad language outside the entrance doors very near the bedroom windows, for a considerable time. In the end, they dispersed after smashing a glass and a car horn was sounded.
Very comfortable and friendly. Breakfasts and evening meals are excellent.
Staff were friendly and helpful, food was wonderful. Room was clean and luxurious, breakfast had an amazing selection and the omelette station was devine. And there is a beautiful walk around the hotel and live music in the bar. Overall it was.a.fantastic stay
Nice place to stay. Friendly staff. Nice breakfast. Nice facilities for kids.
