Location was good
I would give this hotel three stars at best, as that is about what I feel it qualifies for.
The Wi-Fi was terribly poor. I was unable to attend an online Zoom meeting because the connection was so slow. I complained about the issue, but unfortunately, nothing was done to resolve it.
They also did not provide complimentary bottles of water, which was disappointing for a hotel of this standard.
The breakfast menu was also quite limited, with very few options available.
Overall, the experience was disappointing, and I would not consider staying here again.
The bed was very comfortable, also the restaurant food was very good
When I booked, I booked a luxury room, I don’t call a bath with a shower above the bath, with a shower curtain luxury, also the fan was a cheap white fan that was noisy which we had to have on during the night as it was a heat wave , also the bedding the quilt was a 10.5 or a 13 tog which meant we had to sleep on top of the bed , when it should have been changed to a summer quilt weight , with blankets if you needed them,
Also the tv was not working correctly had to turn it on and off at the wall, and to get channels use the to itself to receive them, but the staff knew there should have been 2 remotes for this to as the sky box was old, which we only had one so the remote did not work, for what we got it was expensive our room was 409 will not stay again

Loved having a Seaview room. Room spacious.
Didn't like that there were 2 steps to bathroom with no grab rail. I have mobility issues and found this difficult with nothing to hold onto.

Bathroom quite outdated in room.
Felt reception staff could have had bus info to hand.
We were gven a timetable but it would have been better if they had bus to airport times.

Staff pleasant, polite and always helpful. Welcoming entrance ..The groundfloor restaurant and bar clean , tidy and welcoming, and with excellent pianist.on certain evenings.
Breakfast staff quick to respond to needs and questions. A well stocked and presented breakfast.
Room was daily tidied, and towels replenished. Telephone in room and note pad with pen.
Cleaners very pleasant and good at their job.
A little mould on the corners of the bath under the shower head. A few of the fillings in the bathroom need to be refreshed or renewed

The room size.
The housekeeping was not up to the standard. The room was not vacuumed, thr toilet was not mopped, one side of a curtain was torn out and it was not fixed during our stay. Moreover. we couldn't watch the TV during our stay there was no signal we have to call the reception to fix it. after some time the problem will arise again we kept calling the reception again and again which was annoying.

Excellent location, convenient to public transport and town center. Piano bar. Convenient breakfast provided for early departure. Good housekeeping.
Smallish room with shower in bathtub not suitable for guests with limited mobility. Long walk to elevator with lots of tripping hazards. Tiny elevator inadequate for number of rooms. Somewhat impersonal service. Seems mostly focused on bus tour groups. Average breakfast with only filter coffee, no espresso, cappuccino etc.
