Cons:

The low room with a river view was more a view of the people on the bench directly below the window.

A very nice stay.
Pros:

We stayed for a few days a from the 5-9th July 2026. And we were warmly welcomed by a lady on reception named Jeanjie. She was very attentive and very kind to us.
We were also impressed with the lady who attended our room Charlotte. Unfortunately the safe had been locked by the previous occupants, and we weren’t able to use it. Charlotte did try to help,
And was very obliging, however the safe could not be unlocked.

It is a lovely area to stay in and plenty to see and do.

Very pleasant stay
Pros:

My daughter and I had a very pleasant stay here. The staff were very helpful especially when I wanted to move to a separate room from the one booked to share with my daughter. It is sometimes difficult to explain that not all people booking a double or twin are necessarily a couple, but this was no problem here.
The hotel had everything we needed and a super position. It would just have been nice if the bar area had been open as well as the bar in the dining room, but no doubt that is due to lack of suitable staff which is a common problem nowadays !
We would certainly come back if circumstances allowed.

Very clean and tidy hotel in a lovely location with very friendly staff. Would definately return.
Pros:

Loved the position of the property and had a lovely view.

Cons:

Little bit tired in places, borrowed an iron and ironing board but wasn’t a steam iron which made ironing a heavy cotton shirt hard work.

Yet another lovely stay.
Pros:

Another lovely stay with my husband and Grandchildren. 3 nights in a Junior suite.
Fabulous band on the Saturday (Rivelino). It was a little busy as there was a wedding, this affected our breakfast as we had to sit in the lounge alone rather than the restaurant.
(Don't put pepper in your baked beans, we can do that ourselves if we like)
Some of the waiting staff look very unhappy, helps to smile occasionally. The reception ladies and domestic staff were lovely.
Spotlessly clean throughout.
Excellent location for the beach.
We'll be back again.

Holiday
Pros:

Beautiful Hotel right at the beach with great views, bedroom had enough room and was spotless. The food in the restaurant was good, Sunday roast dinner was great beef just melted in your mouth and the staff worked hard, and very helpful. Had a great weekend and would definitely recommend

Breakfast bacon
Pros:

Little Haven what has happened to the cooking of the bacon at breakfast? I have stayed many times but this time the bacon appears to have been boiled it is a grey colour and then put on a barbecue to achieve 3 brown lines across it giving a high smokey flavour but not cooked through. Disgusting! English bacon should be pink my brown with crispy fat.

Ok for the one night, would recommend to my parents if they needed to stay a few nights.
Pros:

Location.

Cons:

Dated decor feel, seems to cater towards an elderly clientele, I only stayed one night but felt I was too young for this place (I am 56!)
