The hotel was a pleasant surprise. It is extremely beautiful. The meals were great. Lovely bar.
Apparently, the room information sheet outlined steps for an air-conditioner, but there was none in sight.
The staff are very friendly, the hotel is very clean and the food is so nice

The Royal Toby is always my first choice of hotel when I come to Rochdale. It always meets expectations and is excellent on all fronts.

The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable. We will use this hotel again.
Not that I didn't like it was just an observation. I use a wheelchair and the entrance to the hotel is a little bit like an obstacle course, very up and down and funny contours. I am lucky and have an electric wheelchair so if a car came round the steep hill turn I could move fast but other people may not have that oppertunity.
