Food was great
Paying for parking
All meals were excellent
It was a comfortabke hotel with a lovely walk and excellent food. Staff were amazing.
Nothing
Lovely location. We have stayed here last year too, comfortable ground floor room. The staff here are all very efficient and friendly.Excellent choice for breakfast in restaurant, evening meals also very good ,we ate here every evening. Many lovely places to visit from here, also onsite parking. Thanks to Gareth for being very helpful and friendly, hopefully be back again sometime soon.
Location ,apart from cars speeding past outside even though it's meant to be a 20 mph was great. I was walking nearby so suited me, room was nice and comfortable id paid for deluxe as had stayed before in just a double and it was tiny
Same as last time I stayed, staff in restaurant need training ( it's not cheap) I asked what the east neuk caught haddock meant ( where is that?.) Waitress looked stunned said it was the house round the corner??? Guy in waist coat preumme was higher / manager 👨💼looked stumped said no idea... I informed them I came from Fife and stayed in Anstruther which was actually part of East neuk, not a house round the corner.. They need to know their menu with the prices they charge.. Specials were 4 bits of printed paper stuck squintly above table 1 !!! Anyone sitting at table 1 needs to be aware when waitress says our specials are over here ( Did the first night not the second I add) that the folk all then troop over to where they are sitting to read the specials!!!! Bloody ridiculous just tell folk or have a specials menu for each table. £5 per night charge for hotel guests to park yet you get 4 hrs free parking if come for a drink?? Not good...( reason I never left a tip TBH) hope they share the parking income with the staff. No one shows you to room all they talk about is paying up ... No tabs no cash only card, pay up before you leave each night for bed then just chuck your key in a basket when you leave, which has to be before 10am so no check out no interaction no how was your stay, lovely to see you etc , very impersonal... And trying to sell at other venues with the inspired thing??? Nothing was very inspiring at all ... Place really needs someone with some personality and a bit of common sense and just to understand basics about hospitality TBH and it could be a cracking place. Games room no one uses ( no one takes cash yet pool table only takes pound coins, and no cash on site, how can you play if you don't have cash yourself) part of cateran trail get someone to know about it and intice walkers and walking tour company's to choose there as a stop on the trail with luggage transfer etc.
Food was Lovely at Dinner and Breakfast
The Hotel need to make it clear that bikes are not allowed in the bedrooms. In fact the hotel and their policies really need to update to cater for bikes as it is a great biking area and it would add to their value. We were told that we could park our bikes by the side of the hotel where the bins were. The pool room could have been used when the last customer had vacated, plastic mats could be supplied if concerned about the floor. We have travelled and stayed in many hotels without it being a problem. More and more people are travelling and want to use bikes now, it is time to get updated!
Staff, food and location
We had a large room at the front of the hotel.
The restaurant was airy and bright, and the food was delicious.
As it was mid-summer the room was hot during the night and leaving the window open meant lots of road noise as we were at the front of the hotel.
The bar shut early, 10pm. And check-out in the morning was by 10am.
The location was stunning, the hotel was perfect, staff very friendly and the food was incredible. Thoroughly recommend a stay at the Bridge of Cally Hotel.
Myself and my new fiance loved everything!
Accueil efficace. Chambre très confortable. Petit déjeuner copieux.
Prix élevé.
