Quiet, comfortable room. Very clean.
Good location & excellent food.!
Nothing to dislike!
Location, comfort and dinner was good value for money and the best Cranachan I've ever had.
Paying £5 for parking at an isolated country pub (where else was one to park) if I'd known before hand I wouldn't have booked...also the noisy water heating/plumbing needs looked at as it was pretty noisy in our room not nice late evening/early morning.
Room clean and adequate and staff very pleasant.
Breakfast very expensive, so we ate at a cafe. No lounge. Bar tiny. Bar closed very early for residents.
The room was great, clean and tidy and had plenty of space.
Bar has a great choice of beers and wines to choose from aswell as bar meal.
Loved the place been out in the middle of nowhere, nice and quiet.
The car park, it's gravel....it's fine if your in a car or van, but i was on a motorbike and that was not easy moving it around.
It's a little gem. And the walk along the river was a beautiful surprise.
Staff very friendly and helpful. Dog friendly hotel also in bar and dog friendly restaurant
Es war sehe ruhig und dad Essen war sehr gut. Es war sehe nähere am Highlands.
Loved our repeat visit. Loved our room. Will ask for room 15 for future visits..So quiet, only heard the river outside. Magical. Very comfortable & clean xx
Everything was great. Only slight niggle, couldnt work out the TV. But we were happy to do without.
Very clean and comfortable, pleasant staff great food.
Its a lovely little hotel and staff are nice
They always shut everything down early
I was not happy they charged me £5 just to park my car in the car park
I have parked before and not charged They had a sign if you are eating or at bar you park for free
I dont actually see why someone paying probably more for a room is charged to park in what is a large car park
I can see why they dont want anyone just parking and not using the facilities
Good location with parking. Dinner wasn't the highlight of the stay, overpriced and nothing special for the price, especially compared to how the dishes were described on the menu. It did the job, though, and compared to the other issues I had, it's not something I'd complain about much.
The listing stated American Express was accepted, which I relied on as my primary business travel card. At the property, my Amex was declined without any attempt to process it, and as the hotel is cashless, I had no other way to pay except a personal card.
Separately, my first room had a bat in the bathroom, and the replacement room I was moved to had visible staining on the mattress protector, which needed to be replaced as well.
Both issues were resolved practically, but no apology or acknowledgement was ever offered by the hotel, including during a phone call to head office, where the payment issue was blamed elsewhere and the room issues were dismissed as ordinary for a countryside property. I submitted a formal written complaint over a week ago and have received no response whatsoever.
A poor stay is one thing. Not being taken seriously enough to even receive a reply is another.
Rien en particulier. Tout est assez 'moyen' dans cet établissement
La localisation en bordure de route n'est pas idéale pour assurer un repos complet et le parking situé de l'autre côté de la chaussée présente des risques à chaque fois que l'on souhaite y accéder.
Excellent dinner
Lovely staff, fabulous breakfast and great walk directly from the beer garden along the river
Sehr gute Küche, morgens wie Abends.
The setting was nice, albeit situated on a main road.
I feel it was rather expensive for a room only stay. The car park sited over the main road not ideal.
Location and it was very friendly with dogs which was excellent
Noise in room 8 from
Kitchen fans. It went off around 10pm after kitchen closed.
Lovely restaurant.
Loud dan just outside the window.
