Tre giorni bellissimi
Pros:

Nonostante tutto ci tornerei

Amazing place but owners impossible to reach.
Pros:

The location is amazing and the hotel is very charming.

Cons:

A mistake was made in our booking - they hotel told to self check-in in a room that was already booked. We had to figure on our own that our room was actual another one because the owners would never pick up the phone or answer text message/booking chat message. We manage to find the right room without their help but that was really inconvenient not being able to reach them. I sent a message to complain about this matter and I still haven’t receive any answer.
The staff inside the hotel is very nice but they are able to manage this kind of issue/complain.

Older building needing some TLC.
Pros:

Location was handy-15 min walk to all activities we did. Secure bike storage in locked backyard. Good supply of coffee pods. Fridge in room. Large bathtub. Linen and towels fresh and clean. Room generally felt clean but just well used. Nice canal view from our room.

Cons:

Staff not very engaging. Ran out of toilet paper in room. The building definitely needed some TLC! Lots of marks and dings on walls, chipped sink, broken blow dryer, door knob on floor of another room. The place needs a handyman.

Pros:

The location was great and room very spacious.

Cons:

Sadly it was very warm and only 1 fan provided for 3 people / 2 beds. We were able to get an additional one for our second night but a/c would have been a lot more comfortable.

Casa típica antigua, a los niños les encantó quedarse allí ; decoración palaciega. Las vistas desde la habitación al canal y a la ciudad muy bonitas

Pros:

The location was great. The wifi was strong enough for me to have a meeting from 3-5 in the morning, I used the lobby so I wouldn't disturb my fellow travelers.

Cons:

The room was quite warm. Some fans would help with air movement.

Pros:

The location and character of the property

Cons:

The housekeeping was erratic especially over the weekend (lack of bath towels, glasses not replaced, bins not emptied). The rooms needs some TLC to bring it up to standard.

Grand historic rooms but too expensive.
Pros:

The grand bedroom on the ground floor felt very historic. The bed was very comfortable.

Cons:

Given the price we paid for this hotel, I would have expected more facilities. The bathroom was very cramped and the sliding door into it was very creaky which meant disturbing my partner in the night. The room was on the ground floor so suffered a bit from noisy people walking past in the late evening. Breakfast was nice but we sat in our room to eat it. The reception was staffed, part-time, by young people who seemed like students. They were helpful to a extent but were unable, for some reason, to book us a taxi to the station.
