We really enjoyed our stay at Achiote Hotel. The hotel is beautiful, with a lovely colonial style. We loved the rooms, especially the stone tiles and the outdoor shower. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the centre of Barichara. Everything was very clean.

The breakfast was amazing. There were several options, including a traditional Colombian breakfast with a delicious tamal and fresh fruit.

The woman at the front desk was also very friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this hotel.

Cons:

Uno de los servicios descritos en la reserva es tv plana, cuando llegue a la habitación no había ningún tv, pedí que por favor me reubicaran en una habitación con tv pero no me solucionaron ni bajaron el valor de la tarifa.
Por otro lado decía que había servicio de nevera pero pensaba que era en la habitación y tampoco.

Cons:

La piscina estaba verde llena de algas, el colchón súper incómodo y el sofá que estaba en la habitación tenía una apariencia de estar muy sucio.

Habitación hermosa con personal que no conoce la palabra cortesía, excepto Heydi.

La ubicación fantástica y la habitación No.1 planta baja divina.

Cons:

Catherine en el desayuno, ni un buenos días, nada. Empezó así: “quiere café, chocolate, aguapanela” esa fue la conversación y con la de recepción del día de salida, a pesar de habérmela encontrado dos veces nunca saludó. A la salida le pregunté por la bodega para equipaje que colocan en un letrero, y no existía. Salimos del hotel y no dijo nada, nada es nada. Heidy la que nos recibió súper linda, y una señora que lastimosamente no atiende en recepción muy chévere

Tolle zentrale Lage, alles fussläufig erreichbar. Sehr ruhig gelegen. Bestes Frühstück auf unserer Kolumbienreise! Erstes Mal, dass das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmte! Und … Barichara ist der Hammer!
