Location was fantastic and the hotel has unique features. Room was really nice and bed comfortable.
Disappointed with the breakfast. Very basic selection. Had to wait a long time to get a drink. Food was tepid and eggs under done.
Ideal location in the main high street rooftop terrace and very large comfortable bed.
The room, bed and bathroom were spacious and comfortable: a pleasure to be in and the cookies were a very nice touch! The bar and brasserie areas were ideal for being both in a large group and smaller groups.
Bar staff were so helpful when we requested wine coolers to fill with water to keep our flowers fresh!
I had to go out and buy a shower cap as there wasn't one provided and I'd forgotten mine. There wasn't any (requested) decaf tea nor enough (requested) decaf coffee. I prefer a little fridge with real milk in it - again, we went out to buy some and kept it on the window sill.
I find those fiddly hangers annoying - a real hanger is much easier to use.
We’ve had some lovely family meals here, but yesterday it was atrocious.
Highlights were scallops as hard as rocks and an expensive “wagyu burger” which was also overcooked and on closer inspection was not a wagyu burger at all, it was a standard frozen burger.
I returned the burger to reception and asked to see the manager twice, to no avail. I then left my telephone number & email address, nobody has contacted me.
Sad really because a simple apology would have been fine, these things happen sometimes, maybe the regular chef was away.
You’ve now lost a regular customer.
The location of the hotel was very good. The bar, restaurant and room was excellent. General service was very good. Would definitely recommend to others.
Attractively decorated with large rooms. Good atmosphere. Very nice.
Air conditioned room with king sized bed, very comfortable
No specific car park but one close so that was ok
Bar staff excellent, room great, especially cookies!
Not able to accommodate early check in which was fair enough however we were attending a wedding and was surprised no provision of an area in the spa area to change. Also reception staff not overly welcoming especially late night when we arrived back from wedding. No smile or conversation from male receptionist or information offered up regarding how to get to our room etc. Other staff all great
Location, the hotel and bar and restaurant
I asked for no added salt on my food in the restaurant but unfortunately the chips came out salted.
Great location and very comfy room
No parking
Location is excellent. Public spaces better than the room but couldn’t complain about it; just needed a refresh (especially the carpet) Food was fabulous both at breakfast and dinner
Service was mixed. Some excellent, others seemed like they couldn’t be bothered. Young girl in bar was asked if we could order food; she had an iPad in her hand but told us to ask someone behind the bar; moments later she was behind the bar!!
