Convenient location & value for money stay but also slightly claustrophobic with a dummy window
Pros:

The property is located at the heart of Monastiraki, in a square with open-air seating restaurants, cafes and yet the space is quite and within 5 minutes walking distance of the metro and Monastiraki square. For us, this was mainly a pit stop after our trips to other parts of Greece and before we headed back home so we were looking for a an affordable option closer to blue-line metro that would take us to the airport. We found Hotel Tempi to meet our expectations really well for this reason. The place is also within 10 minutes walking to the National Park, 15 min to Agora, Acropolis and Acropolis Museum.
Our room was one with double-bed with shared bathrooms and kitchenette. The bathroom and toilet were squeaky clean and kitchenette adequately equipped.
We had requested the Hotel to give us a room on a lower floor since other reviewers had mentioned an absence of elevator. The hotel complied by giving us a room with a double bed (instead of the twin beds we had initially booked) on the 2nd floor. The hotel has an elevator just for luggage (like a dumbwaiter) that starts from the mezzanine floor and goes up to the 4th floor.So, we did not find the transfer of luggage as problematic as we had imagined.

Cons:

The room itself was a 10' x10' space that did not leave much space around the double bed to even walk around without bumping into the furniture (one wardrobe, desk & chair & a basin). The room had a window that faced plumbing duct/service shaft area and was fully covered with a vented roller shutter that could'nt be rolled up even as we could open the window. This meant that even in day time, we needed to keep the light on, else it was pitch-dark in the room.
Basically a room not just without any view but actually one without a window. This was somewhat claustrophobic for me and my daughter. I wish we had been told about this in the room description so we could have made an informed choice during selection.

De ligging, de lokatie was perfect!! Erg centraal en in een gezellige wijk! Ook dichtbij het metrostation en zelfs uitzicht op Akropolis.
Ik zou er zo weer heen gaan!!

Cons:

De douche was krap.

El personal muy dispuesto y agradable. Tiene una cocina a disposición de los clientes.

Es muy caro para lo que ofrece. Esta muy céntrico, que por una parte es una ventaja pero al tener muchas tabernas y restaurantes abajo, es muy ruidoso. Y el baño muy pequeño

Lugar céntrico, personal muy amable, centro histórico muy bien situado, cerca de todo, andando a todos los sitios q visitar, zona de muucho bullicio y vida. Limpio, un poco viejito, y compartimentado. El ruido se escucha pero se consigue descansar.Nosotros pedimos habitación con baño, no todas lo tienen No tiene ascensor para las personas, si para maletas. Para un par de días sin mucha pretensión está genial. Ahhh cuidado con los mosquitos, pero eso no depende de Tempi. GRACIAS

방을 안내받자마자, 어떻하지 4일동안 묵어야하는데...
그 이유는 방안에서 썩은 냄새가 났기 때문이다. 창문은 있으나 소용없었고 낯선 곳에서 빨리 대응할 수 없어서 그냥 있기로 했다. 2번째날 겨우 잠든 중에 약 1시30분쯤에 물이 폭포처럼 쏟아져내리는 소리가 들렸다. 방안 세안대 연결된 수도관이 터져서 순식간에 물이 방안으로 쏟아졌다. 직원을 불렀고 고치고, 4시 30분쯤 정리는 됐고, 직원은 낼 11시쯤 방을 바꿔주겠나고 했다. 그날밤은 거의 잠을 못잦다. 11쯤 직원은 퇴근하고 주인이듯한 분에게 방을 바꿔달랬다. 방이 없단다....
끝내 그냥 지냈다, 내 여행은 엉망이 되었다.
그냥 물터짐이야 어쩌다 일어난 일이지만, 냄새만 안났음, 완전히 고쳐져서. 물만 새지 않았음 불만이 덜했겠다. 난 계속 물이 떨어지는 상황에서 지내야했다. 나이가 젊었음 빨리 했겠지만, 내년이만 70살이고, 혼자 떠난여행이라 많이 속상했다

Thoroughly enjoyed the vibe & atmosphere
Pros:

EXCELLENT LOCATION. Surrounded by taverns, cafes, restaurants and bars. Less than 10 minutes walk from Syntagma Square, the bus station & Metro.

Cons:

No complaints at all. It;s a budget hotel and we were very happy with it for the price.
Only suggestion is that it should have a kettle/coffee making facility in the bedroom.
