Will return and be happy to unreservedly recommend this hotel.
Pros:

Plenty of variety with the breakfast with a few options you would not get at many other hotels of a similar standard. Our room was excellent, sufficient space and a really comfortable and warm bed. Second stay at the Pullman and would be happy to return.

Cons:

It was a bit of an oddity that the partition between the sleeping area of the room and the en suite bathroom was, in part, glass or perspex (or similar) and completely transparent. A curtain was fitted (on the bedroom side of this divide) which remedied this matter but meant that privacy for the person using the bathroom could be undone at the hand of the other person sharing the room. It would probably never happen but was a strange situation.

Overall enjoyable.
Pros:

Broken light switch in my room but everything else was great. Lovely staff and the food and location were fantastic.

Cons:

Didn’t bring clean towels for environmental reasons. If I was staying more than two nights I would’ve been very disappointed but it was fine for a couple of nights.

Pros:

I liked the style of the hotel, lots of nice touches and nods to Liverpool. The bathroom was great and the bed comfortable. We really appreciated being put in a room on the 8th floor. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Cons:

I was disappointed that after paying for Superior King River View room for a special occasion, the river view was mainly blocked by the arena next door.

Overall, my experience was disappointing despite the good location and pleasant atmosphere.
Pros:

I liked the location and the ambience at the entrance. It gave a very welcoming first impression.

Cons:

The room was not cleaned properly, there was dust in the room and even on the large mirror above the kitchen appliances. The minibar was not replenished daily.
I had to leave the hotel early in the morning and had requested a breakfast box well in advance the previous day. Unfortunately, it was not prepared on time, and I had to wait about 15 minutes on the morning of my departure. In addition, the taxi I had ordered arrived late.
What disappointed me most was the lack of attention from the staff on June 6th, when guests were leaving. No thank you" or "goodbye," from the guy over the counter, which gave the impression that they did not care about their guests.
On a positive note, the gentleman at the entrance to the restaurant for breakfast was exceptionally polite and even remembered guests' names, which was much appreciated.
Unfortunately, the food selection was the same every day and became quite repetitive and boring.
