Pros:

Staff very helpful, the evening meal and breakfast was superb.

Cons:

The air-conditioning in the first room did not work, but the staff moved us to another room.

Would not stay at this hotel again
Pros:

The dinner and breakfast were excellent, breakfast was included in the price although dynamic pricing made this a very expensive stay for basic facilities. Aircon in the room was very effective and quiet.

Cons:

When we checked in the hotel was the same level as a Holiday Inn Express but with the dynamic pricing we were paying 5* prices. The room on the 8th floor was quite small although the view over the river was probably the best you could expect in Liverpool. The room was clean and tidy but rather basic.The bed and bedding was very hard and uncomfortable.

Great nights sleep, very comfortable and the reception staff member that booked me in was fantastic and couldn’t be more
Pros:

Great location, very clean.

Cons:

The gyms was a bit tired and had no cable machines so pretty basic equipment. The parking is a bit of a pain at Kings Dock as it’s really expensive.

Lovely hotel in a good location.
Pros:

Room was good sized, with a comfortable bed and good shower. Location was good; lots to see within walking distance. Very friendly staff.

Cons:

No coffee maker in the room which was a bit outdated, but in a charming sort of way.

Pros:

The hotel and the area surrounding was very clean. A short walk to the dockland and close to the city centre.

Cons:

Hotel receptionist welcomed us by informing me and my wife that a rape had taken place in a hotel.
No table service for tea/ coffee at breakfast. We asked two staff and had to wait until we had finished breakfast before anyone came to the table.

Very enjoyable
Pros:

Location - staff all excellent
The singer / pianist in the evening was particularly good.

Cons:

The only thing I can say is there was a stain on the shower curtain (room 703)
