The hotel has been abandoned. There are homeless people sleeping in the lobby.

This hotel has been abandoned. There are no signs in the locked foyer to tell you, but if another guest comes along who already has checked in and can get into the lobby, you’ll be able to enter and will notice eventually notice signs directing you down a hall, several hundred yards away, to a connected hotel. You have to get on an elevator and go down to a different floor to check in. The hotel stunk. There were homeless people sleeping in the lobby and teenagers were waiting for a guest to come in so they could tailgate into the lobby, and take beer and other alcohol to the pool where no one was paying attention to whether or not they were actually guests. I’ll never stay here again.

The hotel wants to charge $50 for parking garage they scare you and tell you that our car won’t be safe on the street.

totally worth the money, if you're not looking for anything fancy
Pros:

location is 10 min walk from 6th street where all the fun happens. lots of places to eat around

Cons:

few homeless people, which didn't bother us, but kids weren't so happy. also, check in had to be done thru "sister hotel", not holiday inn, which meant we had to walk from our rooms all the way to the check in desk on the other side of the building

Great stay away from home.
Pros:

Close to Moody for a show. Be careful of the area. Walking distance to 6th street
Pros:

Clean comfy room near Moody. I could walk to the concert. Breakfast was good.

Cons:

A lot of homeless people near 6th street and around the hotel. I didn’t have any issues with anyone. Traveling alone. Be aware of what’s around.
