Good location for traveling around San Diego. Clean room and helpful staff. Loved the free rentals of sand toys, beach bogey boards, towels, chairs and coolers.
Small pool was sometimes overcrowded. Elevator was broken near our room. Parking we could only pay and street parking was limited and a little sketchy.
the resort was nice and clean. staff was friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and I really liked the spices in the kitchen. also the free laundry was great.
No free Wi-Fi... REALLY???? it's 2026 there should be free Wi-Fi !!! The dryers didn't work at all. There isn't much to do for the kids. This resort used to have an arcade center now there's just a sitting area. Also no complimentary coffee in lobby. This used to be provided too.
Space
Awkward smell/ odor. Hearing everything. Down to the room next door snoring. False advertising on accommodations.

The door to the balcony was broke and difficult to open and close. There were ants in the kitchen so we could not use the kitchen. The maintenace man came at 11pm knocking to spray for ants. I spent hours searching for the perfect place for our family vacation and booked months in advance and now my kids will probably remember it as "the place with the ants". When I spoke with the manager she would not move us rooms due to no rooms available and would not reimburse me.
The good, the bad and the ugly. The good - we had reserved 3 x 2 bedroom suites for family. The suites were clean, spacious and well equipped for cooking some meals. The pool and hot tub were a great respite at the end of the day. There is a barbeque area for anyone to use. The hotel provides free of charge anything you might need for beach days - chairs, umbrellas, coolers boogie boards etc. The bad - parking underground is expensive $25.00 per day. The Wi-Fi is iffy and not particularly strong, although we had good TV streaming. The ugly - everyone including our adult children were lured into a sales pitch with "incentives". We were all lied to. While they were trying to sell our children into buying credits (10,000 credits = $30,000.00), in another location they were telling my husband and I to walk away from our credits because maintenance fees were exorbitant and pointing out how much money we would save. The whole experience left us with a bad taste of being manipulated and lied to.
The room was nice, but once I arrived they were demanding me to pay again after everything was paid on full before I arrived, having to talk to the manager then finally common up with a lame excuse that it's the new computer. Next as you get ready to go to your room you are stopped and harassed to go on a tour to purchase a time share. There is plunty of parking but they charge you 25 dollars a day to park on thier property. This place is all about the money.
This resort exceeded our expectations. It was modern, neat, clean and a very nice size. The staff was professional, friendly and met all of our needs. It was centrally located to stores, beaches, attractions, no more than a 5-20 minute drive. We felt safe with our car parked in the garage. The parking attendants were excellent also We were provided at no charge beach chairs, an umbrella and cooler for our day trip to La Jolla Shores. We were also provided discounted tickets to the Zoo, and for the Trolley Tour. We had a wonderful vacation. First time in California
Parking fee seemed exorbitant ($25/day), but convenient. Forgiveness of same was used as bait to entice couples to timeshare presentation.
Nice stay overall. Clean room. Easily resort layout to get to parking area. Room was newly renovated
We had just gotten off our flight in San Diego to be informed by email that they had overbooked the property we were staying at and they were canceling our reservation. I spent over four hours on the phone with people playing the blame game trying to get a new reservation at a different property that would be comparable and close to the party we were traveling with but everywhere was booked. We finally had no choice but to be downgraded for something we had paid in full for two months earlier. Over booking and canceling someone’s reservation the day of arrival is extremely unprofessional and Very poor business practices in my opinion. Not to mention, that this was a pretty awful and unsettling experience for our family. Makes me very Leary to trust and book with Expedia in the future
Nice place far drive from
Amenities
Room had roaches so they moved us but then the next room had bedbugs.
Manager refunded my money.
This was a nice property and the staff is friendly; however, the parking garage is really compact and tough to maneuver if you don't have a small car. Parking is also $25/night which I wish I would have known prior to booking. We got a complimentary gift bag upon checking-in which I thought was nice, but they also tried talking us into going to timeshare meetings which I wanted no part of. Outside of that, the property seemed to be well maintained and relatively quiet which was nice.
Didnt honor our reservation. When we arrived said the were overbooked and had canceled our prepaid reservation. Front desk front desk did nothing to help.
My family felt at home immediately. The kitchen and amenities was perfect for y family.
WiFi should be free television stream
The room was clean and spacious. The paid WIFI is horrible. It's best to get a WIFI puck from the front desk. The problem was it was all checked out by other guess. We had to rely on our phone data for internet to complete our work. I would call the front desk everyday and they would tell me it was not available. after several days, I decided to walk to the front desk and magically they had plenty. They only clean the room once a week, you'll have to call and schedule the cleaning. Another thing I really dislike is right after you check in and get your room keys, they want to go speak with a representative pretending to provide you a gift but it's just a Time Share rep that's trying to get you to sign up. I've staye there several times now and this time I told the lady I'm not interested in Time share and proceed to walk to my car. She followed me all the way to my car just to get my information. Be prepare to be directed to the Time Share rep after checking in.
The staff members were helpful, rooms were clean and tidy. Very decent size too. Overall didn't have any complaints until the last night where the security guard scared the living daylights out of me and my companions with his aggressive knocking at 11PM at night.
