Legendary hospitality
Pros:

Can’t begin to thank the staff here. We were left stranded by our other hotel at 4 AM unable to check in and stumbled across this hotel. Samalka took care of us and checked us in and welcomed us to this hotel with very short notice very early in the morning. Their hospitality was unmatched throughout the entire stay. They turned a terrible start to our trip into a memorable one. Would highly suggest this place! Breakfast was great as well.

Great hotel
Pros:

Had a great stay at the Fresco Water Villa. Nice room with airconditioning and a great bathroom. Staff is very friendly. Will definitely recommend to stay here!

Pros:

Hotel was superb and staff also very friendly.
Specially Mr.Samalka in Front lobby was very helpful and supportive person.
Pool is very clean have more space.

Ok but not the 5 Star that was expected
Pros:

Great location, easy to get to Sigiriya Rock
Staff were friendly and helpful
We tried to ignore the rough bits in the room and enjoy ourselves anyway

Cons:

Room was Ok, not so clean and towels were very grey and ugly looking
The furniture was broken and looking very shabby
I would not class this hotel as 5 star, more like 3 star

Bets stay
Pros:

Rooms are good , neatly maintained, restrooms are fresh. Hospitality is good. Best stay during summer. Thanks to Nikini to helped us from receiving to end. Much appreciated

Stay at Fresco Villa Ork Ray
Pros:

Excellent stay with Family ..Food is good and staff is so friendly and stayed in a room in front of the pool so kids are really happy with the stay..
Since the hotel is so close to sigiriya it is very convenient for us to rest ....
I saw few sharp edges in side the swimming pool so need to give attention about safety ....

Pros:

The ourside garden area and
setting of the Villa. There was a platter of cut fruit in the room.

Cons:

The pics were deceiving. The rooms are outdated and smelt musty.
The service at breakfast was lacking. Breakfast was from 6.30 to 9.30 am, however, at around 8.45am, the cheese, fruit etc. platters were almost empty and not replenished.
There was a constant noise of some sort of machine staring and stopping the entire night, disrupting sleep.
