De locatie is perfect.

Cons:

De hotelkamer was redelijk oké. Onze kamer bevond zich boven en we moesten elke keer de trap nemen. Helaas waren we hier van tevoren niet over geïnformeerd.

Het zwembad vonden wij niet echt geschikt om lekker te zwemmen. Het wordt voornamelijk gebruikt voor snorkel- en duiklessen, waardoor je er minder rustig kunt zwemmen.

Verder was het personeel erg lief, vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ook is de locatie mooi en prettig gelegen.

Fantastic location, beautiful hotel and truly exceptional staff — just come prepared for the noise.
Pros:

I had a fantastic stay at Pesona Beach Resort & Spa. The location is absolutely perfect — right in the heart of Gili Trawangan, close to everything — and the hotel itself is beautiful, comfortable and very well maintained.

The staff deserve a special mention: they were genuinely wonderful, warm and incredibly attentive throughout my stay. When I experienced an issue with the noise from the neighbouring nightclub, the hotel handled it extremely well and went out of their way to compensate for the inconvenience with complimentary massages, sauna and other spa treatments. That level of care and customer service really impressed me.

Cons:

The main thing to be aware of is the **nightclub directly next to the hotel**. The music can be extremely loud at night, so if you are sensitive to noise, I strongly recommend bringing proper high-quality earplugs — not the basic disposable ones.

That said, this is Gili Trawangan and the hotel is in a very central location, so nightlife comes with the territory. Most importantly, the staff took my concerns seriously and did everything they could to make up for the discomfort, which I really appreciated.
