Just the best time! Super comfortable location. I would recommend to anyone traveling to San Juan!

Excellent location.

Cons:

Room wasn't ready at check-in time. I received a complimentary bottle of water for their one hour tardiness. I asked for a one hour late check-out and was denied multiple times.
Hotel was in a water conservation location, no prior warning was given so I could prepare (other hotels in the area notified their guests prior to their stay and offered free changes and cancellations). Hotels should have cisterns, this is not a b&b.
Main feature of hotel was the rooftop which I found out was closed upon arrival.
I find this property is lacking in communication skills and empathy with guests. We had messaged on that same day before check-in and there was no mention of any issues with water or partial facility closures.
Also, no smoking allowed on the room's huge terrace. Which was the reason I booked the terrace room.. but maybe that was my mistake.

Very clean hotel and convenient.
Pros:

Staff was very friendly and welcoming 😊 and did a lot to make you feel comfortable.

Cons:

It was not the staff’s or hotel’s fault but there was a water shortage in Old San Juan.

Good for a one night stop over
Pros:

Bathroom was dark. Twin bed squeaked. Roof top bar not open every day.

Clean, comfortable, and exactly what we were looking for.
Pros:

The rooms were clean, elegant, and comfortable. Front desk and housekeeping were exceptional. Location was amazing.

Cons:

There was little noise insulation inside the room. Could hear everything that was happening outside. That was our only complaint, other than that it was perfect.

Great location, comfortable stay.
Pros:

The location is amazing. You can walk everywhere in Old San Juan. We had the corner terrace room on the third floor which was amazing. I loved how easy to navigate the stairs were right by our room. There is a basic but nice courtyard and lobby bathroom. The person at the front desk is always very helpful and there is someone there 24 hours so coming and going felt very safe.

Cons:

The parking situation is challenging. I had planned to park in a close lot that the hotel recommends but it was full. There is no designated paid parking spot for hotel guests so you have to find an open parking garage. We used one close but it was charged hourly and over two nights the cost was close to $70. Not bad for an inner city hotel parking I was just bummed my original plan didn’t work.

Pros:

The location is in the heart of OSJ, the rooms are very large and comfortable, air conditioning was perfect and you can adjust it in your room.

Cons:

It’s pricey, however for a special occasion it’s worth it.

Very good and comfortable stay, having a terrace is a must!
Pros:

Location was central. I loved having the terrace with a table and chairs to sit on in the evenings.

Cons:

I don’t understand the whole idea of adding a resort fee. I would not consider this hotel a resort, but maybe this is an American/ Puerto Rican thing I don’t understand because I haven’t experienced this anywhere else.
