Freundlichkeit und Art des Frühstücks, hatte teilweise den Charme einer Essensausgabe im Sicherheitsbereich.

Unfortunate
Pros:

Unfortunately our stay was less than pleasurable. The staff were not friendly at all. Our room was dirty, hair, dust, things on walls.
For 250$ a night youre definitely better off with somewhere else.

Awful
Pros:

We rented the " family suite" which advertises as for six people.
The room was extremely small, the bathroom was the size of a closet, and the fridge ruined our food.
There was hair all over the beds when we first arrived and the toilet hadn't been cleaned.
Really disappointing for 300$ a night. The hotel lobby also had a very strong sulfur odor which the staff tried to diffuse with essential oils.

Disappointment On The Harbour!
Pros:

The hotel is well located and providing you book a room overlooking the harbour it has good views. The room my wife and I had was reasonably spacious with a comfortable bed, but it had inadequate lighting particularly in the bathroom which just had a single rather dim mirror light.

The reason I am giving this hotel only 2 stars is largely because of the staff. Some of the front desk staff didn’t come across as welcoming and seemed indifferent towards us as guests particularly when we asked for information. A not inexpensive hotel like this without a restaurant should be able to recommend or at least have a list of local cafes/restaurants for its guests to choose to eat at, but this hotel apparently didn’t. Maybe the attitude of some of the staff was because they hadn't had sufficient training in the hotel business, or perhaps they were just bored and disillusioned with their job. One member of staff who came across as particularly unfriendly and abrupt to the point of being rude was the lady whose job it seemed was to guard the food for the guests’ complimentary breakfast. We got the feeling that she really didn't want us there and she snapped at my wife and I for not putting our used plates, cutlery, and mugs in a washing up bowl on a trolley even though there was so sign indicating that we should do that. On our second morning we decided that we didn’t want another encounter with this lady, so we decided not to have the complimentary breakfast and instead we went to a local coffee shop. Although we had booked for three nights at the Inn on the Harbour, we decided to cancel the remainder of our stay there and move to the Crest Hotel, a few hundred yards along the road, where we spent the rest of our time in Prince Rupert. The Crest is excellent, a bit more expensive than the Inn on the Harbour, but well worth it in my view, not least because it has a very good restaurant. To compare these two hotels is like comparing chalk with cheese.

A great place to stay.
Pros:

The room with a harbour view is well worth the splurge. It is a great location near shops and restaurants and about 1 block from the airport shuttle depot.

Cons:

The parking lot is a little too small.

Cosy comfortable satisfaction
Pros:

The property was conveniently located. Premises were always in very clean condition. The property is well maintained. Everything functioned well. Breakfast was wonderful with lots of options. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I liked that the bedding was eco-tex certified, so no harmful chemicals. Also it was nice not to have carpet on the floor. None of my allergies flared while staying there.

Cons:

I was very satisfied. It was a good place to stay and I would stay there again.

Pick the Right Room!
Pros:

We stayed for four nights in March of 2026, and booked a 2-queen-bed room on the harbor side of the hotel. The room features a magnificent view out over the water below, giving lots of natural light. Blackout curtains and a quiet atmosphere are perfect for a good night's sleep. The beds are very comfortable, with extra pillows and blankets. The heater is quiet and efficient. The free wifi is adequate, if not the world's fastest.

The hotel provides complimentary coffee all day long, as well as filtered water. The continental breakfast of fruit, pastries, boiled eggs, cereal, waffles, toast etc. is a good way to ease into the day. Staff are very professional and accommodating.

The one caveat is that rooms on the parking-lot side of the building would provide a much different experience. Vehicle noise, headlights coming on mere feet from the window, and a view consisting of those same vehicles is a whole different reality. Spending a few extra dollars makes a huge difference here!

Always Cozy & Comfortable.
Pros:

We love the location and the feeling of comfort. We also enjoyed the breakfast and appreciate the cleanliness of the rooms and the fresh smell of the linens. The beds are so comfortable and pillowy soft, the heat works and the fan in the bathroom turns on and the shower head comes off and its adjustable.

Cons:

Figuring out how to use the tv and explore the channels was a bit frustrating. there's an arm chair but there isnt an office chair, it would be crowded if there was. so we just used the luggage holder as an extra chair because there's three of us. we like to get takeout and eat in so seating is important to us, but we don't mind making do. there was nothing that we didn't particularly like about our stay at all.

overall pleasant. we have stayed here before. Will stay again because of its location on the harbour
Pros:

this small hotel is user-friendly, nicely equipped and the location on the harbour is picturesque. the breakfast area and client lounge is quiet and we were able to usedit well for working. Lots of coffee available in the lobby - good! the room was comfortable, the shower alittle tricky to figure out and couldn't be adjusted without actually getting wet. the TV system was not user-friendly.

Cons:

TV system was confusing. Shower would only work on the hand-held appliance and could not be shifted to the overhead. could n't be adjusted without actually getting into the shower and getting wet.
