The room light at night is a bit bright (the fire exit light) maybe an eye mask!

a wonderful and very enjoyable stay in a lovely country pub
Pros:

had a lovely stay .very friendly and professional service from all the people working there . the rooms are very comfortable . i was there during the heatwave and the cleaners provided me with two decent sized standing fans which really helped. the breakfast has an excellent menu choice . there is plenty of free parking .will definatley come back .

Suited my purpose
Pros:

Convenient location as I was due to play golf nearby really the following morning

Cons:

Not a big issue but a family party with small children in the garden was noisy until about 10pm

From the minute we arrived early to check in, the staff were fabulous . Very friendly & efficient & our 2 dogs were given treats! Room was lovely & comfortable & located right by the beer garden..always a bonus! Luckily they close at 10pm otherwise would of been much too noisy . Food was amazing, we had lunch , dinner & breakfast . All were lovely & v hard working waiting staff. Ourdogs enjoyed the stay too. Will definitely stay again if in the area. Ideally located for walking the dogs in the heathland just up the rd. Also for visiting the general area.

Great experience
Pros:

I have been staying at this hotel since 2022.

I chose the hotel because it is close to my workplace, the staff are amazing, and nothing is ever too much for them.

This week, I stayed in one of the refurbished rooms. It was absolutely lovely. The room was very comfortable, clean, and had all the facilities available.
