Pros:

Situation centrale, possibilité d'arrivée tardive (1h du matin). Nous avions besoin de dormir à Heraklion avant de prendre notre voiture de location le marin suivant, c'était impeccable.
Prix très intéressant.

Reception did not seem to pay attention to the com in nts and goings of “guests.” Key cards not necessary to operate the elevator, so I did not have much confidence in the security of the hotel.

Tolle Lage, selbst mit viel Gepäck zu Fuss vom Fährhafen erreichbar & anschliessend lässt sich die Stadt prima zu Fuss entdecken.

Cons:

Frühstücksbuffet: leider kein Brot oder Croissants (dafür Toastbrot).

Enjoyable. Interesting relaxed place for a short stay.
Pros:

Very welcoming and helpful staff with good knowledge of the places around, local transport options.
Great location for discovering the place by walking and access to buses for going further afield. Plenty of food and drinking places all within 5 minutes walk.
The area felt safe. Local people very friendly and willing to help/guide as needed.
My room had a super sea view across the harbour.
Bedroom was clean and comfortable.

Cons:

The breakfast was just average for a 3* hotel with limited options but did the job.
Bedroom decor was looking a bit tired and dated but OK for a base.
