Amazing Condos at Sosua Ocean Village

Very good place to stay

Great location. Close to beaches, supermarkets, 2 water parks and apt was clean and staff friendly.

The food at the Maria restaurant is abosilutely fantastic, however the property villa conditions was just ok. IKEA's basic furniture which was very uncomfortable.

The waterpark cleanliness was horrific with algae and mold on all surfaces. It seems liked they were never cleaned.

Overall my stay was great. Nothing to really complain about as far as the Villa. It was beautiful and the views were great. I had an issue with the shower and it was fixed the next day. Make sure you have a translator app or being able to speak Spanish is a plus because the housekeepers and maintenance staff that came to my villa spoke no english. The villa was clean and well maintained. Lots of natural beautiful lighting. The house has a great AC unit but I mostly used the ceiling fans as we had the doors open often. Very safe area from what I saw the construction workers were a little bit much when walking by them but nothing you can't ignore. Everything is close enough to walk to grocery store, restaurants beaches etc. I definitely will be booking again if I am able to get one of these beautiful villas again. The host (Rosa) was nice as well, she and her team responded very quickly whenever I contacted them.

Positives:
- Big apartment
- Pet friendly
- Clean
- Living room and kitchen nice
- The staff at Amazing condos were professional and accommodating
- Good price

Negatives:
- No beach access without paying expensive entry fees to enter the area with restaurants and pools
- The security in the gate are very inflexible. We couldn’t find our entry/exit card and it wasn’t always pleasant trying to get them to open the gate
- Not in town - they have a back entrance right into town but it was closed —- didn’t find it that easy to access a moto taxi to get things. No supermarket on site and really to stay here you need a car to get around.
- No AC in the living room - this was a huge one - it was very humid and uncomfortable
- No coffee maker and the kitchen lacked small appliances. No toaster. No blender. Very little.
- Washing machine was broken
- The bed in the master bedroom was also broken - this was also a big one because I could not sleep well at all, it was literally caving in
- Had a bathtub which is excellent - but no stopper to take a bath

I would sum it up as you get what you pay for. Certainly not one of the better places I have stayed in Sosua but also not bad.

It was beautiful. Clean safe the staff very helpful the condo was beautiful and spacious I felt safe and at home the minute I walked in I will vacation there again

I never stayed they cancelled my reservation via a text message the night before arrival. They never cancelled the reserrvation via expedia

The property I rented was okay for what I paid. It would serve the owner well to do upgrades- fix kitchen sink and facet, cabinet had a mildew smell, have pots in better condition, safe was locked and we had to request another one, sliding door was broken and could not lock properly which required contacting the property management, too many water bugs. The employee who serviced us could be more friendly and accommodating.

The property was very clean, the swimming pool was right in front which helped to keep on eye on the kids. I had plenty of space in all the rooms.

The property was spacious and the place was nice and peaceful.

Me gustó la estancia, pero se mostraron fotos o lugares donde no se tiene acceso y tienen costos adicionales, como el espacio para niños y la entrada a las piscinas que son cerca a los restaurantes, eso no me parece adecuado.

El apartamento está completo.
No me gustó que no hay acceso a la playa ni al mar, ni siquiera para verlo.

have to pay $350 of deposit for 1 night. and if you crack a trash can which is outside of the room, you have to pay

They had to call out the technician for the bathroom, but his demeanor was hurendious. Bad customer service in his part, some German man with no customer service skills. Guess he was mad to be called out for 5 minutes to our villa to use a plunger only. Well the bad experience came about when we checked out and all of a sudden, the surprise visit from hotel staff that we MUST pay for a clogged toilet or they will charge my credit card. Spoke to another German lady and as they put her to speak to me. She thought i was her staff, she tells me in Spanish: charge their credit card! I said: ma'am your speaking to your guest, things aren't done this way and for $10 American dollars your losing 7 American tourist. Shame on them.

Hotel beautiful, you own your own, no activities, no service non what so ever, pay your own foods but restaurant is good, after 6.00pm just like all ghost town. Over price just to sleep.
