It smelled like sewage and mold. False advertisement that there was a “full amenity” kitchen. We brought $200 in fresh food to cook and they only had 4 glasses. No utensils, no plates, no pots or pans. When asked they said it would be $50 to rent. That was never mentioned in the description. When I explained this to the front office they said the manager would not waive the fee. Even after sending a screen shot of the kitchen description. So customer service was bad.
Our room had 30 yr old carpet that was moldy smelling, as well as the sofa and pillows. This neighboring units were all updated and clean. After going to dinner we came home to a sewage smell and had to open windows and doors to keep from throwing up. I was so embarrassed for my guest and her daughter, it was a birthday present and it was gross!

Amazing location, great comfortable rooms. Will of course stay again.
Pros:

Right by the beach literally 50 steps down to the beach. Rooms were quaint, old-fashioned beach, hut, vibe we had a kitchen didn’t use it very much, but it was amazing to have it, especially since we’re gonna come back next year with the kiddos.

Cons:

The showerhead seem to be in the wrong position, no matter which way we tried to turn it. The water kept spilling out on the floor.

We love these little places & will return. Great Staff!
Pros:

Staff was friendly & very helpful. Location & ease of parking is a key aspect as to why we've come her time and again. We enjoy close proximity to beach as well as food options w/out having to get in the car.

Cons:

Although room appeared pretty well cleaned the room had an off putting smell. Maybe carpet? I also miss when Parking was just included in price.

The location in capitola was good. The little secluded water area was really nice for my kids cus they are still little.

Cons:

We did not fit in the parking lot, so we had to truck all our luggage and children from far away, up a big hill. It was so exhausting to arrive and to leave. The window in the bedroom with twin beds was completely pushed out. Letting the outside noise fill the room. My toddlers were too scared to sleep in there. Took several hours to get them down. The other bedroom that has a sliding door was also broken. The door does not stay shut on its own… so had to use towels and luggage to hold the door shut, but then that was also difficult because the kids couldn’t open the door to go to the bathroom. The floors were very dirty. My crawling one year olds knees were black after a couple minutes of crawling. There was no garbage disposal, which was inconvenient. There was no pots or pans. I had to go to the store and spend a bunch of money on Kitchen stuff I don’t need. It also would have been helpful to have trash bins or dumpster to empty all our trash bags.

A. Shame that we don’t have face to face contact with staff during check in . Every company wants to cut costs, usually that is staff, for extra profit. The way of the world, nevertheless, not impressed. An absence of customer service everywhere especially since Covid. It gave businesses an excuse not to show up.

Wonderful and great accomodation for a medium size family.
Pros:

Beach front location, has stove but needs to bring pan or cooking utensils. Thay have 3cups and 3 glasses but need to bring own spoons and forks if planning to eat meals inside the accomodation.

close to the beach, felt like an air bnb, the staff were accomadating, when i had troubles

There are parts of the property that feel 'old' my key card stoped working for some reason, but the staf fixed it ASAP
