とにかく設備が古いので、そういうことを楽しめないと、ガッカリするだけです。
シャワーブースのお湯は出ませんでした。暑い国なので、冷水でも良さそうですが、雨に濡れた後に冷水を浴びるのは無理でした。
バスタブに錆びた蛇口から、ぬるま湯をはって、しのぎましたが、その水を排水すると、シャワーブースの方に逆流して、排水管の中の汚泥が浮き上がってきました。メンテナンスされてません。一泊だけ、雰囲気を楽しむのがいいと思いました。

The location is excellent

Lots of good food on offer in the restaurant

Cons:

It is a bit run down because its old colonial but the cleaning staff kept it as clean as possible. Just don't expect perfect.

The common areas and exterior are extremely charming. This is the appeal and we enjoyed the stay. Rooms very basic but beds were comfortable

Cons:

The charm ends when you enter your room. Very tired and basic. It was sad to see and hard not to be disappointed from the exterior. Bathrooms and space could be improved to replicate the charm of the building. Price was affordable but compared with other hotels in SriLanka, would be better value to stay elsewhere
