Probably the best location for the hotel within the whole region. Relaxing and quite place.
Pros:

Location of the hotel cannot be better, central and convenient. Parking is available mostly for free outside, but is also available for payment inside.
Rooms are fantastic, particularly deluxe and up with views into the village, fantastic park just beside, castle next door etc., relaxing, In the summer outdoor music in the village most Saturdays.
Golf course visible from the window of the hotel and generally available to anybody for payment.
Town of Ceske Budejovice is accessible by the bus or taxi and well worth the visit.
Generally very good place for the short stays.
Spa and small swimming pool in the hotel are available.

Cons:

Rooms are available only on half board basis, but the restaurant closes at 9 PM Mon-Fri and 11PM-Sat,
Late bar is available, but did not see anybody in it as there is no obvious service there, just seats, generally rather uninviting, but short walk to the village offers choice of restaurants, that are opened later.
Breakfast offering is rather limited and of variable quality, restaurant food is OK, but restaurant can often be full with groups of people, that are bussed in and are not staying in the hotel, therefore booking of the meal is recommended early.
Considering, that guests are paying for the half board as the only option, service and quality of the food would do with a bit of improvement.

Mohlo by se změnit větší nabídka příloh a né když poprosím o brambory mají jen pečené a když jsem chtěla rýži tak prý ne a přitom byla ryže k španelskému ptačku. Snídaně taky jen volské oka prostě málo bohatá.

Pros:

Frühstück und Abendessen waren sehr lecker.

Standort des Hotels ist außergewöhnlich.

Cons:

Wellness: kleiner Pool, Whirlpool kalt, Dampfsauna riecht modrig und schimmlig. Kompletter Wellnessbereich alt, sanierungsbedürftig und dreckig.

Abendessen: Man hat einen "Credit", für den man sich beim Abendessen etwas von der Karte aussuchen kann. Mit Getränk zahlt man aber eigentlich immer drauf. Keine echte Halbpension wie man sie gebucht hat.

Zimmer: Das Zimmer war in Ordnung. Aber auch hier ist ein Sanierungsstau (Risse in den Wänden, schiefe Lichtschalter, Panzertape hält den Fußboden, Putz bröckelt ab, Duschen nur im Sitzen möglich, weil keine Halterung da ist und Balken das Stehen verhindern).

Service: Man muss morgens bescheid geben, wann man zum Abendessen kommen möchte und hoffen dass ein Platz frei ist. Trotz Reservierungen und wenig Betrieb warteten wir in 2 von 4 Abenden über 1 Stunde auf unser Essen. An der Rezeption wurden wir gebeten selbst im Restaurant bescheid zu geben, wann wir kommen, weil sie die Liste bereits rübergereicht hat - das ist kein guter Service.

Das Hotel ist definitiv KEINE Empfehlung!

Wir haven unsere Mini Flitterwochen dort verbracht und waren wirklich enttäuscht wie heruntergekommen alles ist. Auf den Bildern des Hotels sieht es immer super aus, entspricht aber nicht der Realität.

Polopenze neznamená večeře v ceně, ale předem neurčitý kredit na jídlo.

Krásné místo, hezké pokoje.

Cons:

Polopenze a večeře v ceně znamená, že vám nikdo nepoví jak to funguje, večer podepíšete účet a druhý den večeři doplácíte. V soukromé vířivce 0,2 lahev sektu je spíše úsměvná.

Pros:

We had a very pleasant stay at the hotel. It has a unique vintage charm and a wonderful location. The food was excellent, with a great selection and outstanding quality. Special thanks to the friendly receptionist who welcomed us warmly and was helpful throughout our stay.
The rooms are comfortable, and the hotel offers a lovely historical atmosphere. The only minor drawback is that the bathroom could use a little more maintenance and updating. Nevertheless, our overall impression was excellent, and we would gladly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Hluboká nad Vltavou.
