Overall, the location is excellent for sightseeing!
Pros:

The location was great, close to the train station, and the tram stop was right across from the hotel. The Zoo and the Botanical Garden were very close by, and the metro was a 10 to 15-minute walk.

Cons:

I was disappointed there was no fridge, especially since it's a 3-star hotel. I didn't like the pillows, and both the room and the bathroom were very small. For that price, I expected more space.

Pros:

Staff great:polite, helpful and very kind. Older hotel but in a great part of the city and so easy to get around. Best shower ever....and great to have a big window.

Baño muy pequeño al salir de la ducha chocaba con el rollo del papel y el inodoro. Cableado del TV por el techo. No había espacio para poner la valija y poder abrirla. La única opción de cama era 2 individuales arrimadas. La tarjeta del hotel era un papel por impresora. En el ascensor no entraban dos personas con una valija mediana. El costo de la habitación según el hotel era de €89 por día y Booking nos cobró € 200 por día por un hotel que no llegaba a dos estrellas.

Bon hôtel mais je n'y retournerai pas forcément
Pros:

Hôtel situé en face d'un arrêt de tram, dépôt de bagage gratuit (mais dans un espace non surveillé), chambres propres avec salle de bain privative fonctionnelle, ascenseur, réception 24/24, rue calme.

Cons:

Odeur de cigarette froide dans la chambre, moquette pas hygiénique, rapport qualité/prix trop cher (mais comme tout à Amsterdam), un peu loin du centre pour parcourir toute la ville à pied.

Nice and strategic location, easy access to tram. I liked the view. There was a water-cooler and tea, which isn't always the default nowadays. The staff was really helpful and friendly

The shower was impractically placed and the shower water was coming out with low force.
