Lack of elevator
Great location, friendly staff, affordable.
Little shabby. The hotel has seen better days but still fine for a few nights.
Really spacious room. Balcony with superb view looking out over sea and Mani Peninsula. Very kind, helpful and good-humoured chap on reception. A couple of decent beach tavernas just opposite.
Slightly dowdy decor. Traffic on waterfront road a bit noisy. Available parking a little far from hotel. Hotel a little far from central Kalamata.
Hotel Alexandrion is in a great location- across the road from the beach and a nice sea view from the balcony. It’s within easy walking distance to a variety of waterfront restaurants and bars, or you can jump on a No. 1 bus just outside and it will take you up to the main shopping area, and the older part of town near the Museum,.
My room was extremely clean and comfortable - good aircon and great to have a fridge.
Owners were very friendly, welcoming and helpful.
Kalamata is a nice little town to explore and the hotel is excellent value for money.
