Please note that office hours are 09:00 to 17:30 Monday to Saturday, and closed on Sunday. If you expect to arrive outside reception opening hours, please inform Redwood Hollow Cottages in advance.

Please note that only the confirmed number of guests are allowed at the property.

Kindly be advice that we have 4 parking spaces and it's first come first serve. We are not able to reserve the spaces.

- RESERVATION: A 20% non-refundable deposit is required in advance to guarantee your reservation as a commitment for the full period requested. This deposit will be charged to the credit card on the same day the reservation is made. The remaining balance is due and payable 30 days prior to arrival, and will be automatically charged to the same card on file unless otherwise arranged.

- PRE-CHECK-IN REQUIREMENTS: After booking, a rental agreement and check-in form will be sent to your Booking.com inbox or email (if provided). Both documents must be completed and signed in order to receive check-in instructions. Once submitted, your personalized self check-in code and arrival details will be sent within 48 hours prior to arrival.
Please note: Check-in instructions cannot be released until both forms are submitted.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation.
Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

It’s a pretty amazing place to stay to enjoy La Jolla.
Pros:

The uniqueness of the property is beautiful and an excellent location for walking in La Jolla. It was very peaceful to be at our cabin.

Cons:

Never got a response about early check in.

Relaxation in La Jolla
Pros:

Location in walking distance of the two centers of La Jolla: The upmarket one and the availabilities on Pearl St. Calm and relaxing after a stressful day - the setting really set this accommodation apart as off the beaten track while still in the center of La Jolla. It was in a way an oasis or a time pocket.

Cons:

They cannot guarantee an onsite parking lot, even if it was part of the booking. We got lucky and always had one of the four spaces, but resorting to street side parking would have been a nightmare, because they are almost all taken.

Overall, we had a great experience and would recommend and return when I come back to San Diego. None of the negatives
Pros:

Such a cute place! It has a very homey feel and was clean and spacious! I didn’t cook, but there was a full kitchen and cute patio area.

Cons:

The description wasn’t clear that there are 2 bathrooms and 2 bathTUBS, but only 1 shower. Also, the 3rd room doesn’t have AC. The master mattress needs to be replaced. Parking availability is scarce.

The cottages are terminally quaint.

Cons:

There are four parking spaces total, and street parking was full all the time. I don't recommend trying to park a car here.

A bit expensive, but it's worth it
Pros:

The location, close to the beach and shops, is truly fantastic. The bungalow complex has a lot of charm and is an oasis of peace

Cons:

Most of the windows in my cottage couldn't be opened. Because of this, I didn't really get that beachy feeling inside the bungalow. Personally, I also found the place a bit too cluttered with plush and porcelain. It doesn't really fit with a beach setting.

A trip back in time, in the city center
Pros:

Incredibly quaint. It felt like I was tucked away in a secluded location despite being in the middle of the city. The cottage was cozy and adorable. The plant life was incredible and helped it to feel cool despite the heat.

Cons:

Nothing! Could do a little better job with cleaning up cobwebs along the ceiling rafters, but other than that, it was lovely.

Peaceful and serene you don’t even know you’re in a city. It is our third stay here and we plan on coming back again.
Pros:

It is a beautiful little garden retreat. It is one block to the beach. There are lots of little restaurants close by, our favorite is la Corriente.

We wanted to love this place but our cottage needs some attention
Pros:

The property was charming. The garden area was lovely.

Cons:

The cottage was charming and clean however there was a very very bad musty smell in the cottage that we stayed in #246. It made for a rough two night sleep as it was nauseating to me and affected my husband’s allergies. The slider door to the bathroom was hard to slide open. We could not get the TV to work. But that was ok. The faucet on the kitchen sink was loose so be careful with that. It would be helpful to put blackout curtains at the window on the wall where the headboard is on as the lights from the parking are shining throw the curtain shears. But most disturbing was the musty smell. But we love La Jolla and will always be coming back but probably not to this charming little place as from outside visuals very charming but this cottage in particular has some issues that need addressing.
