Cons:

The location to prayers at the Hotel was definitely the strongest point — very convenient walking distance to Masjid al-Haram and probably the main reason to choose it within the budget range available.

Staff were acceptable overall — neither particularly warm nor unfriendly, just average. Food, however, was below expectations and generally not recommended. Cleanliness also left a lot to be desired and did not feel up to standard. The view was poor as well, especially with the required open distance/window aspect.

That said, considering the limited options at the time and the price range, the hotel mainly worked because of its proximity to Haram rather than the hotel experience itself.

* Clean and well-maintained rooms, making the stay comfortable
* Great location, just about 10 minutes’ walk to Haram
* Convenient for الصلاة—even if you’re late or unable to go, you can pray just outside the hotel and still be within the Haram area
