Disappointing eating facilities for international tourists

Location was amazing

Cons:

The restaurant was closed! In a coastal resort this is not acceptable. The cafe was. Not a sufficient replacement. We were looking forward to a splendid seafood dinner. Not good. We had to find a restaurant in town

Great hotel and location spoilt by noise from adjacent construction site.
Pros:

The staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel was modern, attractive in a great location by the beach. The room was also very nice. However, we were extremely disappointed that we were not warned before booking that literally across the road was a construction site. At 8 am in the morning extremely loud noises, coming from the site, made it impossible to sleep or relax in our room!! This was extremely annoying and spoiled our otherwise pleasant experience there. Booking.com should compensate us for this lack of essential information at the time of booking.

The extremely noisy construction site across the road which was frequently extremely loud from 8am in the morning onwards. This is not acceptable. Although this is not the fault of the hotel as they could do nothing about it, we should have been advised of the situation before booking.
