Die Lage und der private Pool
Beachfront, small resort, very laid back at a beautiful beach
We had beachfront room, very nice view. however the privacy could be better by putting a bit more plants
Hotel an einen Super schönen Strand gelegen der Aufenthalt war erholsam und schön. Eine Handvoll Restaurants gibt es fußläufig zu erreichen. Der Hauptpool an der Rezeption war auch ganz nett.
Es müsste noch an der Sauberkeit gearbeitet werden, vielleicht alte Matratzen gegen neue Austauschen oder tiefen Reinigen lassen. In diesen Zustand wie die Textilien sich befinden ist es leider ein Zumutung die Zimmer für diesen Preis und als 4 Sterne Kategorie zu vermieten. Die Zimmer Pool Anlagen sind auch nur zum anschauen da das Wasser leicht grünlich und dreckig ist durch Blätter welche nach 3 Tagen entfernt wurden. Schade da die Lage und die Zimmer viel Potenzial haben !

L'emplacement sur la plage de Mae Nam. Piscine privée mais sale !
Piscine sale j'ai été obligé de demander durant les 3 jours à faire nettoyer ma piscine privée et de vider moi même le skimmer. Le personnel ne semble pas soucieux de ça et peu aimable lors de ma demande. Les petits déjeuners totalement à revoir ananas en boîte alors d'un ananas frais coûte 40th pain passé au micro ondes sur 3 breakfast 1 seul commandé et non mangé.
The location is perfect, a lot of small cafes and eateries around the locality and of course, the primary pier is just 10 minutes from here. Airport also close by. Staff is great, especially Luna, she went out of her way to help and accommodate us and made us feel comfortable & welcomed.
The construction of the villas is not good from the inside, especially the large stairs on both sides. You cannot live here with your small kids, especially infants as the construction restricts their movement. It’s dangerous and you have to be very watchful if you stay here. Our infant daughter got hurt due to those stairs, luckily it was not serious.
The location is just beautiful! Right on Ban Tai beach. Lots of sun beds around the main pool & bean bags on the beach. The rooms are beautifully decorated, comfortable beds, clean, good showers and all have private little pools which is just awesome. Rooms are cleaned every day & fresh towels provide each day. The restaurant/bar is lovely looking out onto the beach with a good selection for breakfast & food available till 4pm. The staff are all amazing! Tang at reception is the loveliest human & was so helpful with arranging day trips, booked us tickets to a Mauy Tai match & recommended local restaurants. The restaurant/bar/kitchen staff were so friendly & housekeeping staff too. 10-15 minute Taxi/bike ride to Fisherman’s village for shopping & bars & restaurants.
Nothing at all. Would highly recommend staying here.. can’t wait to go back!!
We love Ban Tai Beach, so the location is definitely nice.
Rooms are pretty worn out and unfortunately don’t match the photos (May 2026). Not really a room to relax in, if you’re there to keep busy and be out all day then it would be fine. The Thai lady that seems to run the place changed and became a bit gruff with us when she realised we were only booked there for a short stay and we were moving elsewhere. She also didn’t seem to like the fact we weren’t eating there or hiring scooters etc either. We remained nice to her but she seemed also be short at her employees barking at them a lot which was a bit uncomfortable to see. We do Thailand every year and we’ve never really had that experience with Thai people before so it was disappointing.
The Staff were incredible! Honestly very responsive and very nice and always there to make your vacation better.
The location when compared to the other beaches I visited is also great and the beach is clean.
Multiple markets are walking distance from the place which is extra convenient.
A Muay Thai fitness spot is right next the hotel/resort which is very resourceful if you are into that.
Unfortunately the rooms were underwhelming and outdated for the money you pay.
A good shower is expected but unfortunately that was way too bad, water keeps getting hot and cold while you shower and the pressure is almost non existent so get ready for a very slow shower after being on the beach with sand all over you.
We booked a villa but honestly that is just misleading as this was a room with barely enough space for a desk, so we had to eat our meal sitting on the stone couch that is built in with no tables to assist and if you want to do some work then good luck with that, your laptop will be on your lap.
Ants invaded the room on the first day after I left my food to eat a bit later after my swim and they just swarmed that meal coming down from the ceiling!
