Pros:

2 nights in a suite and a junior suite and could not be happier. The rooms are very comfortable with great views, the SPA is one of the best I've used, the breakfast is also very good, a lot to offer and always with quality. All the staff was super friendly, trying every-time to make us fell at home and cozy. Special thanks to Alexia for her welcoming check-in.

Cons:

Really can't find something negative, the location is superb, in the city center, sometimes you find some noise coming from the street, but that is something to expect, it's not in the middle of the mountains.

Amazing boutique hotel in Selva with wonderful staff.
Pros:

Breakfast was amazing, great diversity in offering and it was difficult not to eat too much. The food displays were all very well done and tempting. We really looked forward to having a beer and some snacks at the end of our hikes at the bar located downstairs.
Separate from the bar, the main restaurant is a bit on the higher end but the quality and service goes with it, with an interesting menu that includes home made pasta (I had to go back for the wonderful spaghettoni all’amatriciana), and for those that are into wine…the cellar alone is worth a detour.
Our room was comfy and very quiet, bathroom was a decent size too.
We didn’t try the spa/pool area.
And…the staff across the board was excellent. Friendly but not too chatty, and very professional.
We would love to go back, possibly in the winter this time.

Cons:

There is nothing we didn’t like per say, but a couple of little things might be better known ahead of time:
- The king size bed in our room was really two double beds tied together into a king size bed, with each side having its own individual cot (it was well done and it didn’t really bother us, and it looks like it’s common in certain hotels in Europe).
- Didn’t look like the cook at breakfast knew the difference between “over/easy” and “over/hard” for fried eggs…so you might have to be more specific if you like them runny. Still, it’s a nice touch to get freshly made eggs any style with the already amazing breakfast spread.
- There is no A/C in the rooms. On paper, that shouldn’t be an issue with the nights being cooler in the mountains, but with the recent heat wave in Europe it was noticeable (especially for North Americans) for a couple of nights. There was a Dyson floor fan in room which really helped on those nights, and you can always open the windows to get the fresh mountain breeze (there isn’t much going on at night outside, noise wise).

Pros:

Alles sehr schön und liebevoll gemacht. Der Service ist hervorragend, wir waren 4 Nächte da und es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Lage ist sehr gut und auch das Angebot vom Haus ist ausgezeichnet.

Cons:

Die zwei Einzelbetten waren eher etwas klein.

This is a fantastic boutique hotel that is conveniently located to skiing and hiking in Vallunga. The staff are approachable and helpful. The rooms are clean and updsted. The breakfast was fantastic. Lots of variety and everything was fresh and well prepared. The spa facilities were also really clean and well maintained. I highly recommend this hotel.
