Nothing
Great setting, very nice staff especially the receptionist Vicky who was so friendly and helpful, very clean accommodation and great on site facilities
I travelled by motorcycle and the gravel entrance from the road is difficult to negotiate and is in need of repair
Perfect location. Room was immaculate and as we had number 43. A lovely view over the grassland with sheep. Everything was spotless and the bed was huge and very comfy. We stayed b and b . Breakfast was the best we have ever had in any hotel . As it was last time we visited. Our 3rd visit now and each time has been amazing. We now call it our getaway place ! Far from the madding crowd but close enough to enjoy days out. All the staff were amazing and big thanks to Vicki for her help at breakfast with extra bacon for me. The fried bread was just like my mum made ❤️. Will definitely recommend to anyone.
Nothing was too much trouble for them.
Gorgeous and unusual hotel - lovely staff team
N/A
Lovely grounds, staff great.
Only way to get ventilation at night was to open windows at ground level, allowing access from outside which felt unsafe. Power Shower temperature fluctuated wildly. Breakfast was mid level. Could be so much more with the right attention to details.
It’s in a lovely location
It’s dated and a little ramshackle
Great location, close to faversham town but still in the quiet countryside
Thin walls if you have noisy neighbours!
I booked our wedding party at Judds Folly and the service was amazing. Carlie took what we wanted and made the evening really special we didn’t have to worry or stress about anything. The venue was perfect, the food was great and it all went off without a hitch. I cannot thank the staff enough for the way they looked after us, everyone was so friendly and professional and all our guests said what a brilliant evening it was.
Would definitely recommend for anyone looking to arrange a function of any sort.
We stayed for four nights. This is one of many hotels that we have stayed at , but this place was outstanding. Great room, superb staff , and really good breakfast and evening meals. As a bonus there are a number of good countryside strolls straight out of the hotel grounds.
The staff, particularly Vicki, were brilliant.
The shower
Location was ok
The doors one had to go through to get to your room, the size of the room, no bath, shower doors did not close properly so floor got wet, an uncomfortable bed, high mirror in the bathroom, limited formal parking areas.
We had one of the bigger rooms in Yew Cottage at the back of the hotel. It was large, well equipped and very comfortable. The hotel is surrounded by beautiful parkland and ideally situated for onward travel to Canterbury.
Parts of the hotel (mainly around the side were a bit shabby and rundown; though you only see it as you walk past. It was very quiet - only 3 couples in the dining room on a Friday night - and occupied entirely by older folk (like us!) which might not suit younger people.
We recently celebrated our wedding at Judd's folly!
We looked at lots of different venues but Judd's folly stood out from the others because of the attention to detail and the service received. I genuinely don't think we could have had what we had anywhere else because nowhere else has Carlie! Nothing was too much trouble on the day or in the build up to it.
So many guests commented on how nice the venue was - especially the food!
Thanks so much for having us and we look forward to celebrating our anniversaries with you
Freshly cooked breakfast was very good.
Bar range is quite limited, but there is a few.
Dinner and breakfast. and the lovely grounds.
