Room/suite was very good. Facilities very good. We did not have breakfast, as there wasn't a cheaper, Continental style option advertised.
The parking by the rooms was very limited. There is a need for a general car park near the entrance. Signage by the road needs improving - we drove past entrance first time, as sign looked as if for industrial premises!
Lovely room and location and breakfast was very good and great value
From the moment we arrived until the very end of the night, everything was absolutely perfect. Our wedding day was more beautiful than we ever could have imagined, and it truly was the best day of our lives.
Every single member of staff was so kind, welcoming, and attentive. They went above and beyond to make sure everything ran seamlessly, allowing us to relax and enjoy every precious moment with our family and friends.
A huge and heartfelt thank you to Carlie, our incredible wedding coordinator. From the very beginning, she was there every step of the way, making the whole planning process feel effortless. On the day itself, she was simply amazing—calm, organised, thoughtful, and always one step ahead. Knowing she was there meant we didn't have to worry about a single thing, and we are so grateful for everything she did to make our dream wedding become a reality.
We will never forget how special everyone made us feel. The love, care, and attention to every little detail created memories that we will cherish for the rest of our lives. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for giving us the most magical day we could ever have wished for. We cannot recommend this venue highly enough.
We had the absolute joy of choosing Judd's Folly for our recent wedding in July. We were lucky enough with the weather to hold the ceremony outside and the reception was held in the beautiful function room. The day itself was flawless thanks to Carlie and every single member of staff were AMAZING! Honestly, I couldn't recommend Judd's highly enough! They will ensure your special occasion is one to remember!

Room only at £99 was a bit steep.
On arrival the staff were most helpful and attentive, but after going to our room which felt very cold even after closing the window. After an uncomfortable nights sleep we noticed firstly there was not a bath mat( even though this was a disabled room) the chairs in the room were torn and dirty plus the two tea cups were also cracked and a health hazard. Lastly the breakfast was disappointing bacon, black pudding dry and mushrooms over boiled with no taste. My wife could not eat the breakfast as a guest decided to play with her hair and then touch the food.My wife was offered a fresh meal but we had a prior appointment and did not have the time to wait. We were not advised about a wedding reception. Lounge area was noisy so we returned to our room. Had we known we could have cancelled. The buildings are old and not cared for.
Very strange outbuildings. We thought we had booked a room in an hotel. We were in a old building and had to walk with our luggage along a rough gravel drive to our accommodation.
There were notices on the bathroom wall saying we had to run the hot water tap in the basin while having a shower because there were airlock in the system. Windows had to be left open in thr bathroom because if condensation.

Wedding reception bar area closed to residents,,no comfortable indoor seating available.
Room had a musty smell and was indeed a small double with limited storage space.

Room was dark and smelt very musty or damp. The bed was comfortable but really all in need of a revamp.

Check in was friendly and efficient. All the staff were busy with a wedding but they still made time for us. Our rooms were lovely in buildings away from the main hotel with their own bit of outdoor space (it was very hot!). Breakfast was plentiful with a good choice. Gf well catered for with their own toaster which is brilliant. We'll come again.
