It's ok. Except for the Wi-Fi.
Pros:

Nice when it comes to breakfast and it's a lot to do within the hotel itself.

Cons:

The Wi-Fi signal and the Wi-Fi itself was terrible one of the worst had to deal with.

Beautiful location in a quiet community but still minutes from everything.
Pros:

Beautiful property in a safe, quiet location. Check-in was efficient and the staff member friendly and inviting. The room was very clean. Bed was excellent! Location is set in an exquisitely kept community where miles of walking tracks exist if you want to get out and explore a bit.

Pros:

The air conditioner was the best I've had.

Cons:

The shower floor was soft right where you had to stand and literally moved up and down atleast and inch the whole time, the water was luke warm at best. And the housekeeping were beating on the door at 8:15 am until we would answer and then just walked off.

Worst HIE I've Stayed In
Pros:

Probably the worst HIE property I've ever stayed at:
- The rooms were approximately 99% humidity. As evidenced by a piece of paper going from normal consistency to feeling like it had been dipped in water overnight.
- Milk was served at breakfast one morning that was 3-4 days past expiration. Not just one carton, multiple. (Yes, I made the staff aware, and they were able to replace them with non-expired cartons)
- On multiple days of our stay, the cinnamon roll trays were replaced with COMPLETELY FROZEN cinnamon rolls. C'mon - the best reason to stay at HIE and you screwed it up.
- Bugs. Bugs. Bugs. Bugs in the entryway when we arrived - they were swept out after they died, but new ones kept returning the entire stay. Also, bugs in our room on occasion. Not the entire time, so is that a positive?
- The bathroom door was not mounted properly, so it did not latch.
- The shower was not installed correctly, so if you turned the faucet to get more warmth in your water, it would not continue running. Even when it did run (colder than you wanted) it barely came out. Next to zero water pressure.
- Minor bummer, not a big deal, but the free weights had an interesting selection. They had two 5-lb dumb bells and then nothing until 35-pounders. 35,40,45 lbs wer available - odd selection for a hotel workout facility.
- The elevator did not work for a few days - I listed that last because at least they forewarned us upon arrival, kept us posted, and apologized for the inconvenience.

Pros:

We stayed last night and this is certainly not your best example of. Holiday in. Express. As a matter of fact m I would question ever trying another one based on this experience. I know there are good ones because we have stayed at them but this was not one,
When I searched the floor for the ice machine and could to find it I ask the only front desk clerk who was on his phone where I could get ice??? He directed me to the Kitchen. The sign clearly said employees only. I was shoo led a d took pictures of where I got the I e but there is no place to post it here. There was a shattered window in the dining area. The pool was not clean and the bottom stick and slimy.
He shower leaked water because the door didnt seem to shut properly.
One elevator was out of order.

The hotel was clean and very nice.

Cons:

There was an entire group of hockey kids staying the same weekend they played hockey all hours of the night banging on walls and floors . We had to get up early due to my son competition trap shooting so got no rest. The staff finally tried to address it after we would call in the middle of the night. The parents were allowed to sit in the lobby listening to loud music and drinking while the children were unattended all over the hotel. Then during a tornado warning we went to sit down in the lobby had no instructions on what to do and the parents continued to drink and the kids ran around screaming.
