The four bed room house was amazing, the staff is friendly and helpful, most of all the view of the mountains and lake are a wonder to wake up to in the morning.
Downside is a boat is the only why to reach it, do not follow the GPS up the mountain, stop at the pier. The stairs up from the dock up to the house are in water and will move with the waves, the dock will move too.
First off, I want to say how friendly Mario the manager is and the staff. They greet you with smiles and provide good service. The issues I have are not with them.
First off, the property is not in San Antonio Palopo. It’s about a 10-min boat ride away. So you’re going to be isolated. It’s kinda like glamping, if you’re into that.
Second, the property is nicer in pictures than it is in real life. There was no obvious hot water in our unit and the shower head was some sort of plastic with wires hooked up. I didn’t bring up the lack of hot water because at that point I had decided to book somewhere else.
Besides the bathroom, the fixtures and furnishings were dated. It would take too much to spice things up, but this must not be the owners priority.
It would be nice if the owners put some more care into the little things because the staff is very accommodating.
Beautiful place. The manager and staff were friendly, helpful and thoughtful. Communication was great. We enjoyed a beautiful evening. The rooms are designed for maximum view of the lake and surrounding mountains. Myriad bird songs in the morning. My wife said “This place is magical”. I couldn’t agree more
Great hotel , close to cultural towns ...
Great staff
The rooms are beautiful with an awesome view to the Lake. Most of the personnel was warm. Our stay was pleasant and very comfortable, except that the pool was so cold, in a gray day. So, it was a problem for me because my kids wanted to stay inside the pool. The food was good. I think a hotel that is away from town and shops, would better have a little store inside to purchase things like chocolate, chips, wine, etc. Definitely I would stay again at this hotel since I really loved the view.
