Convenient central location with excellent staff.
Pros:

Excellent location for us.
The staff were brilliant and all of them smiled all the time. That is very rare. Eleanor on reception was particular helpful

Cons:

The room was disappointing. We weren't expecting the room to be so cramped. All facilities were included but everything was squashed in, including a standard size 4'6" double bed. Just as well we are slim!

Best Eastbourne Hotel by far
Pros:

The staff really care and are always there to help and very welcoming. Whole hotel is very clean throughout. There is no better hotel in Eastbourne

Sehr gut mit dem richtigen Zimmer
Pros:

Klassisches und historisches Bäderhotel, meist genutzt von Senioren und Reisegruppen mit nettem Personal und Blick zum Meer. Sehr gutes Frühstück, welches serviert wird. Sehr sauber. Generell ist Eastbourne sehr gepflegt und ruhiger als Brighton.

Cons:

Die Zimmer mit Meerblick direkt über dem Eingang sind zwar schön groß, aber nicht renoviert, dunkel und riechen fürchterlich. Über den Vorbau könnten die Möwen ins Zimmer gelangen. Wir haben lieber ein kleineres Zimmer weiter oben genommen, die Differenz bekamen wir aber leider nicht erstattet.

Classic charm at an affordable price
Pros:

Good breakfast with helpful waiting staff. Comfy room, if a bit small but exceeded expectations for the price.

Cons:

Very warm, no air con. I had planned to stay and work in the hotel lobby before my work meeting but it was too warm.

If there for more than one night would upgrade to a sea view room.
Pros:

Yearly stay and this year was usual good standard. Small room but only there one night and bed comfortable. Breakfast lovely and waiting staff fabulous.

Cons:

Wasn’t much to dislike. Warren of corridors but once found room it wasn’t too bad.

My wife and I are very happy with our weekend at the Langham and we are sure that we will return.
Pros:

The catering was excellent, breakfast and dinner very generous. The prawn cocktail has to be seen to be believed, could not finish the main course after eating it. The staff are great. A very traditional hotel.

Cons:

The toilet on the room was a bit low and the space for it a little cramped which made it challenging to use as I do have some mobility issues.

Passable for a two night stay
Pros:

Reception and breakfast staff were all very pleasant and friendly. Room and bathroom were spotlessly clean, thank you!
Good location for our needs.
Breakfast was nice.

Cons:

Lots of noise outside our room (114) during the night.
I think the bin storage was located just below our window.
The room was unbearably hot, we had a air conditioning stand alone unit which was ineffective.
Also, the floor tiles in the bathroom were slippery - both my sister and I slipped on them.
