A wonderful hotel for a stay by the sea.
Pros:

The hotel is lovely. The room was clean and comfortable. The location is wonderful, right on the seafront and the terrace is a beautiful spot for a drink or breakfast. The staff were lovely. We arrived at check-in time but our room wasn’t ready due to a high volume of guests checking in that day. The woman at reception was lovely but couldn’t give us a time when it would be ready. We came back two hours later and the room still wasn’t ready and she apologised and offered us a complimentary drink at the bar.

Cons:

The room we were in, 114, looks onto the parking. This isn’t a problem but the security light shone pretty much directly into the room and so the room was very bright at night, which wasn’t ideal for sleeping. It did go off at a certain point but then must have had a sensor as it turned on occasionally. Tilting the light down and black out curtains would fix this.

Great Hotel, with excellent Seafront Location, friendly staff and great service
Pros:

Breakfast was excellent along with the staff in general who were all friendly and helpful. At the front of the Hotel is a beautiful terraced area to sit out in the sunshine and watch the world go by!

Cons:

The Hotel itself is a little dated in terms of decor, but you couldn't fault the cleanliness and it has fantastic potential with a little updating!

We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend break at the Langham Hotel.
Pros:

Our room was on the third floor. Sound proof, no noise from other rooms. No late night door banging. The room and bathroom were clean and well stocked with soaps, tea, coffee, biscutes and water. There was a fan in our room too although we did actually take our own, larger one. The room was kept clean throughout the visit with room service. The veiw, although not a sea veiw, was lovely, looking out across the back of the town which captures the sunset beautifully. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. Quick, polite service from resturant staff. I would definately stay here again.

Cons:

The bed was comfortable but a little hard for my personal choice.

Pros:

Beach front, lovely views of the sea. Very close to city centre but far enough avoiding the party buzz

Cons:

Single room was dusty and room smelled a bit, doesn't look like it has been touched in a while. We were charged for extra coffee i.e Cappuccino, flat white or americano. Not everyone drinks filtered or french pressed watery coffee.

Pros:

Locatie is goed. Pal aan de boulevard met uitzicht op zee!

Cons:

Het lijkt wel alsof ze zich niet georganiseerd hebben voor een drukkere periode. Hebben meer mensen horen klagen bij de receptie over verschillende zaken.

Inchecken bij ons duurde enorm lang. Kamers waren nog niet klaar, terwijl de check in vanaf half drie was. Er werd aangegeven dat we om half vier naar de kamer konden. Toen we om half vier gingen checken waren de kamers nog niet klaar. Eerste kamer konden we om 1600 uur in. De tweede kamer was toen nog niet klaar. Pas om kwart voor vijf konden we naar de kamer. Receptioniste voelde zich echt wel schuldig, dat merkte je aan alles. Heeft uiteindelijk de kosten van de parkeergarage niet doorberekend als coulance voor het wachten. Netjes!

Twee persoonsbed is echt te klein voor 2 volwassenen. Zowel lengte als de breedte.
Douche kon je niet in omdraaien (ik ben niet zo groot en de douchekop had de langste tijd gehad, kwam maar 1 straal uit).

Personeel kwam bij het ontbijt aardig gestressed over. Geen uitleg over hoe het menu/bestelling werkte en toen we dus wat verward bestelde, kwam er n ietwat kortaf antwoord. Ontbijt zelf was prima en ruime keus!

Prachtig hotel op een mooie plek. Maar er moet echt wat aan de organisatie gedaan worden en n upgrade van de kamers/douche mag ook wel. Zelfs in typisch Engelse stijl 😊

A most enjoyable short break in a lovely hotel
Pros:

Great location, good varied breakfast, really comfortable room with lovely view, excellent relaxing areas - bar, terrace, lobby
