Comfortable stay in charming accommodation which was convenient and good value.
Pros:

We enjoyed our one night stay at The Latch Inn. It is a charming, quaint and a quite quirky place. The location is very quiet and scenic. It's very convenient for the ferry terminal and local places of interest.
The room was very comfortable and relaxing. Breakfast was excellent.
We have already recommended The Latch Inn to other people for when they are over on Vancouver Island🙂

Pros:

Tolle Lage direkt am Hafen. Altes geschichtsträchtiges Haus . Wunderschöner Frühstücksraum . Leckeres Frühstück

Disappointing Stay
Pros:

Interesting old lodge in nice location.

Cons:

This is our 4th time staying at the Latch. It has obviously changed hands and is not nearly as well kept as originally. It was a disappointing stay.

Very average
Pros:

The location of the lodge was excellent and the room was comfy and clean even though it smells very very old and stale. Very quiet location.

Cons:

The exterior energy of the property is dead. There were no chairs set up on the nice wrap around patio. The lower patio by the dinning room had no service even during happy hour. Not a sole around. There was a dead squirrel that had been decaying there for quite some time. The interior of the lodge is a shown in photos and very stately but the smell isn't good.

The outside of the building is appealing. There are few guests and no children. it is very quiet.

Cons:

It is very tired. The TV did not work. Maintenance is requried. This place is in need of an upgrade.

Pros:

breakfast was top ! had a lot of choices, and the lady came with the coffee several times, English style historical property, I like that very much, unfortunately could not stay longer.
nearby the ship harbor and for the evening 5 minutes walk to a very good restaurant.
thanks to the friendly staff, who brought the drinks outside !
