The location was great, however can be a little hard to find initially. Had great views of the river and pretty much was in the center of it all. The suite was perfect for our family of 4.
Wonderful location right on the river where there is always something going on from sax players to singers. Clean bright rooms with good views. The staff is extremely courteous.

Our apartment overlooked the river above the busy tourist area of Ribeira. It was quite spacious with lofty ceilings and windows that fully open to enjoy the sights and sounds. It’s in a separate building a few steps away from the main hotel. Breakfast was included in our stay and was a lovely spread in the restaurant with fresh fruit platters, cheeses, meats, pastries, fresh eggs to order and table service either inside or outside on the patio overlooking the river. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We were able to leave our luggage behind the front desk all day after we checked out as we had an evening flight.
Be aware that musicians sing below the rooms that face the river during the day and until around 10 pm at night during the weeknights. Not sure if they go later on the weekends. We found it to add to the charm of Ribeira, but if you like to have quiet earlier in the evening, keep that in mind.
The location and view were unbeatable! The room was large, beautiful and equipped with a small kitchenette which we didn’t use but had everything you’d need if you wanted to have a meal.
The breakfast was really good and you could special order eggs, omelets, etc.
I would definitely come back to this hotel if I return to Porto.

Not letting anyone check in until 3 was a little annoying. I work for a luxury hotel and we allow people to check in as soon as the room is ready and don’t make them wait for an arbitrary time.
Das Design und die Größe der Apartments sind ideal, alles ist sehr sauber und angenehm duftend. Die Lage ist einfach perfekt: direkt an der Strandpromenade mit Balkonblick auf den Douro.
Das gesamte Team, einschließlich der Managerin, war jederzeit sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Very noisy at night, did not get a good night sleep. would recommend ear plugs as you can hear everything outside and above you
