Perfect boutique hotel in The center of Funchal
Pros:

We love staying at Castanheiro whenever we come to Funchal. The location is perfect, and the staff are always friendly and welcoming. The hotel is beautiful, comfortable, and an excellent base for exploring the city.

Pros:

Отличный очень уютный внутри отель с удобным расположением. Пешком очень быстро можно добраться в любую точку города. Персонал приветливый и внимательный, на территории есть терраса, СПА и бассейн на крыше. По вечерам бывает живая музыка или какие-то концерты с очень талантливыми артистами, было приятно выпить коктейль вечером и насладиться атмосферой. Завтраки проходят в уютном внутреннем дворике с цветами и обслуживанием, как в ресторане, но в тоже время есть и шведский стол. Нам достался просторный номер на 3 этаже и никакого шума с улицы мы не слышали, было тихо. Кровати и подушки тоже были удобными. Я рада, что мы остановились в этом отеле, это точно дополнило наш отдых!

Cons:

Двери в номерах достаточно громко закрываются, слышно когда люди начинают идти на завтрак с 7:30 утра, но нам это не мешало потому что мы очень уставали и спали не смотря ни на что и тоже часто просыпались рано на завтрак.

Excellent location in the middle of Funchal's old town. Close to just about everything. Friendly and professional staff. Nice rooms. We even managed to catch a concert in the hotel courtyard from our balcony.

Top hotel midden in het centrum. Absolute aanrader.
Pros:

Vriendelijk personeel, iedere avond live muziek, goed restaurant en kwalitatief hoogstaande service. De Spa was een uiterst aangename extra.
