Super cute

Pros:

The hotel is uniquely located on a little piece of land that sticks out into the ocean. The rooms were clean.

Cons:

The hotel is remote. There were no functioning dining facilities. The rooms are not equipped for preparing meals. The facilities were past their prime and in a general state of neglect (cigarette butts in planters). The rooms had a worn out appearance with deteriorating baseboards. The one bedside lamp had a cracked lamp shade and was taped with electric tape. It could only be turned off by unplugging it. The loft with the twin beds was visibly dirty and had warped and peeling flooring. All of this being said, it did provide a safe clean space to sleep, despite not having blackout curtains for all of the windows. However, it was the most expensive place that we stayed in the 10 nights we spent all over Iceland and by far the most disappointing.

a+ would return again and would definitely recommend to those who are exploring Iceland
Pros:

the resort was lovely and has lots of character and surprised us in a good way
we were happy to return back to this room each night

the room was supplied with coffee also which was good as we really needed it after a few days of travelling


a+ , a great location that was easy to drive to and well positioned for either a trip out of, or a trip into the city

Un’esperienza davvero speciale, in un luogo immerso nel nulla islandese che ha reso tutto ancora più magico. Abbiamo festeggiato un cinquantesimo indimenticabile, reso unico da un’aurora boreale semplicemente meravigliosa. La location è molto carina e accogliente, e cenare nella nostra casina di legno ha aggiunto un tocco intimo e autentico all’esperienza. È stato tutto perfetto, super consigliato!

Pros:

La camera è molto accogliente, adatta per 2 persone più ragazzi giovani perchè la scala per accedere ai 2 letti superiori è impegnativa. Abbiamo soggiornato nella camera davanti al mare con una vista spettacolare. Nonostante sia vicino alla città di Reykyavik non subisce troppo inquinamento luminoso.... abbiamo visto l'aurora boreale... meravigliosa

Come tutti gli alloggi, non c'è presenza di persone che ti accolgono. Tutto è informale e lasciato a messaggi. La chiave è nella porta e la lasci nella porta quando te ne vai.

Overall so peaceful and beautiful, would absolutely go again.
Pros:

Beautiful location! The on site sauna and hot tubs were amazing too.

Cons:

No staff on site and poor wifi, so we would have had an issue if something went wrong!
