Beautiful place with movie-like views anywhere you look. We really enjoyed our stay and ended up doing a photoshoot at the chapel gardens as well. Don't miss the hot tub (ideal to go before sunset for the views). Breakfast and chef were great as well.

The location and the views were beautiful, and the property itself has a lot of potential.
Unfortunately, the service was extremely disappointing for a hotel at this price point.
When we arrived to check in, there was no one at reception. We had to use the call button downstairs to contact someone and then waited around 20 minutes for a staff member to arrive. There was also no one available to assist with our luggage.
After check-in, we were surprised that the hotel did not have a proper buggy or shuttle service despite the layout of the property. The vehicle available was very small.
What disappointed us most was that a significant part of the communal area was closed for a private event without any prior notice. As paying hotel guests, this substantially limited our access to the facilities we expected to be able to use during our stay.
We asked whether we could simply take a few photos in the area for five to ten minutes before leaving. We were told that the event guests would arrive in four minutes and that we therefore could not stay. However, when we later returned to our room, the event guests still had not arrived, which made the way the situation was handled particularly frustrating.
Overall, the property itself may be beautiful, but the level of service, communication and guest experience did not match the price or expectations we had for a hotel of this standard.

An exceptional boutique stay with breathtaking views over Lake Hayes and Coronet. The estate is peaceful, beautifully maintained and perfect for a romantic getaway. The warm, personalised hospitality from Daniel and the team made us feel genuinely welcome, while the gourmet breakfast and elegant surroundings exceeded our expectations. Conveniently located close to Queenstown and Arrowtown, yet wonderfully private and tranquil. A truly memorable experience, we will happily return.

I have nothing bad to say. We were upgraded and everyone was so classy and professional and we felt so looked after. The food was delicious and the place was spectacular, we will be returning this place is like a fairy tale !! Thank you so much
Great staff, always happy to help! The estate is stunning and such a cool history! Loved the complimentary extras like the breakfast, cheese platters and wine as well as snacks and non-alcoholic beverages! Such a nice touch! Very accommodating especially for gluten free!
The only complaint we had was the pillows weren’t very comfortable.
The open spaces, comfy bed, excellent staff, and the Pinot noir wine yummy.
5 course degustation dinner was beautiful. The little touch in the afternoon with cheese and wine delivered in the afternoon was amazing.
