Great Hotel in Phoenix But No Pool
Pros:

A really nice room in a very nice hotel. However, a hotel without a swimming pool in Phoenix wouldn’t be a good choice for vacationing families. It really is a beautiful building and the rooms are very well furnished. The hotel staff was great, especially Carmen at the front desk. For a business trip where you don’t plan to swim, I highly recommend it.

Pros:

Excellent staff. But the hotel infrastructure is old. Our room was pretty nice but the AC was extremely noisy. It was 105 degrees outside so we needed to have the AC running.

It’s fine
Pros:

Old building with lots of character. Room was large as was the bathroom. Contemporary design and decor. Customer service was good. Only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of of 5 was because of cleanliness. My room (1217) has various stains (some sticky) on the bathroom wall paper . A simple wipe down by housekeeping could have taken care of it. But with a lack of attention to cleaning details in the bathroom, of course it makes you wonder about the rest of the room,

It was beautiful. I had my baby shower here. Everything was perfect.

unauthorized charges
Pros:

we stayed at this location one night after our reservation at Embassy suite was cancelled due to gas leak. while the hotel stay was ok, upon checking my receipt i noted a lot of unauthorized charges (over $200) for food & beverages, we didn't consume. i just want to warn others to pay close attention to their receipt and charges.
