Off street parking
It wasn’t clean. Fixings came off the wall. The sofa bed was stained and not comfy at all. The access hatch in the bedroom made awful banging noises. A child was above us and just ran back and forth for hours. There was no cover over the fuse box. It came across as cheap but has 4 star so we hoped for a bit better. The toilet was hard to flush. Very bright lights outside the windows at night.
The staff was really nice and kind and very helpful. Felt like they actually cared rather than trying to take more money

The location was ideal for getting to the occasion we were attending and the railway station.
It was in a quiet street but in the city centre. Our room was quiet - no noise from other rooms, the corridor or outside, so we got a good night’s sleep.
The staff were friendly and efficient throughout. The room was clean, tidy and well equipped.
The bed was huge and very comfortable.
There is a lovely canal walk nearby and easy access to cafes and restaurants.
Unfortunately the shower drain struggled to cope with the power shower and the soap/shampoo container in the shower area hadn’t been refilled. But I still enjoyed it.
The apartment was really nice inside. Had complimentary tea and coffee. Everything we needed for our little break away.
The only thing I would maybe say is that it would have been nice to have a bedside table either side of the main bed.
I was happy my whole family stayed in one apartment
The smell in the corridor, the parking wasn’t well explained by the staff and we got a ticket for parking on the road. I wasn’t happy with this overall.
Room was spotless, plenty of space with a family bathroom and a bathroom off the bedroom, fully kitted out kitchen, loads of spare towels and bedding, helpful staff on the front desk. Fantastic value for money.

It’s a very spacious and quite clean accommodation for staying in birmingham. my room came with living space, bathroom, kitchenette two tvs and a bed. I would 100% recommend. Security at night hours and 24 hrs reception, I came back to the place late and asked to extend check out time which was easily applicable at reception. The bed was clean and comfortable.
Only issue is that although my bathroom was clean, the toilet had some issues with the flush.
This was the second time I have stayed at the Staycity Apartments and once again it all worked out. The staff were brilliant on arrival and made a special notice of our children, offered them Ice Cream and had some colouring for them.
We used the room for a central location for shopping ahead of the Gladiators experience at the NEC the following morning. I have also re-booked to go again later in the year when we attend a concert at the Utilita Arena.
