Santa Monica pier was great but the hotel was not.
Pros:

The location is right across the streets from the pier.

Cons:

A roach crawled from the back of the mirror. That was really embarrassing because I was with my family. Also they had me park my Mercedes in a sketchy back stall.

Parking, spaces to small. Parking to expensive and only 2 pillows per bed. Need 2 per person.

Was fair but not worth the cost that was charged compared to other properties in the same location.
Pros:

The standard of hotel did not match the cost. I should have done more research but for less money we could have stayed at an ocean front four star hotel with all the amenities including a pool rather than what felt like a motel. I could hear the people in the room above and had cars parking directly outside my room - all of which is fine but for the cost I was expecting a lot better.
